Longest I have driven was in 2009 when me and my friend drove from erode to Delhi. During the trip, we started after a stay at bangalore at 6.00AM and stopped on the highway for a nap after crossing Thane by 100kms. That's almost a 1100 kms drive in 20 hours with stoppages for food in between.

My longest single day trip (till now!)

Bangalore - Karur - Trichy - Bangalore. 740+ kms. 4am - 11pm.

Visiting friends in Karur & Trichy. Breakfast in Karur, Lunch in Trichy. Had sufficient breaks (2+ hrs at each place, no sleep in between though), just chatting with friends/their family.

While returning between Namakkal - Dharmapuri, there was heavy rains, couldn't cross 60-70kmph. Very very slow progress. Otherwise I would have had dinner in Bangalore! Good music helps a lot.

The entire run takes about 15 hours on Both sides. Enjoyed the cruising power of XUV at triple digits. The beast really pulls well and all those 140 horses can be felt.

My Purple Cheetah - aka XUV 500 - has done many 900+ km in a day.

Here are the top 3 long distance drives P Cheetah has covered recently:

1. Amritsar>Nagpur [1,649 km] via Hussainiwala Border>Delhi>Agra>Jhansi>Chhindwara in 32 hours including 3 hours sight-seeing at Hussainiwala Border

2. Shillong>Bhubaneswar [1,531 km] via Guwahati>Hasimara>Dalkhola>Malda>Moregram>SH7>Burdwan in 32 hours

3. Kolkata>New Delhi [1,480 km] via Burdwan>Dhanbad>Varanasi>Allahabad>Kanpur>Agra in 31 hours

Did a 800kms drive recently, not more as compared to distance, but duration wise this was my longest run as i covered the distance in 17hrs with two 30mins break and a 1hr stop for sightseeing, driving through densest forest and reserve roads.
