The Yamaha YZF-R1 and its track-focused sibling, the YZF-R1M, have received significant upgrades for 2020 model year. Not surprisingly, the duo comes equipped with more technology than ever before while visual changes are subtle.
The 2020 Yamaha YZF-R1 gets meaner LED headlamps and slightly modified bodywork which improves the aerodynamic efficiency by 5.3% and reduces wind noise. The new R1-M which is swathed in carbon fiber will be available in limited numbers. The regular R1 can be had in trademark Yamaha Blue and Raven color options.
