I find somewhere for the proper switch but it was not success that is the reason behind the bell switch. Yes its effective

Reason could be most of those drivers are transferred from tri-cycle/load rick to these kind of vehicles and most of the passenger auto are driven by the upgraded ordinary rick riders. Most of the taxi drivers are auto drivers and like that it goes up every level. Their thought level will be only that much.
