Motor, gears and etc mounted on plastic housing. Which doesn't make it durable and I don't think it makes sense to buy similar inflator as it will break again in future.
Instead I'd recommend metal body tyre inflator like the following:

I like Bergmann Typhoon because its cheap and best. I have blackcat like inflator but from different company. Working fine since 4 years. Its hose started to leak so replaced it with water level hose.

Issue is most of these heavy duty ones are not digital with auto cut. I use inflators to ensure accurate air pressure for sake of tyre life and Ride quality.
Just today I topped up my Safari tyres from neaby anna and I can already see bumpy/ Unsettled ride. I told him to inflate till 35 PSI, but on those coarse gagues they have, he might've gone till 38~39 PSI. Same could be the issue with these heavy duty ones.
I am mostly leaning towards myTVS 2 in 1 (Link is earlier post). I have asked the brand to supply user manual PDF as specs are quite confusing. Assuming its TVS with 2 year warranty, There should'nt be much issues I hope.

1. Yes. All the ancilary functions work. The Display, The lights, Pressure gague works. Even the motor spins. But as gear mount is broken, it just ends up making huge grinding noise. I am looking forward to take it to nearby welder to see if this can be mended. It could atleast be helpful for my bicycles.
I just hope the cheap metal they've used has some weldable quality.
2. It appears the chinese designers are making 2 types of Inflator "KITS". One is the metal body which you suggested. This always comes with manual gague.
Other one is digital.
All the so called Assemblers or importers are using these kits with their own stamp. Taking a close look, you can see that the display and the usual 3 button layout is common across all brands and types. I assume the machinery is also same.
The reviews of MyTVS dedicated inflators are among the best. But michellin and even goodyear have all mixed reviews (Michellin being worst) so yes, the quality of these chinese kits are patchy. I hope if they last 3~5 years its all good. myTVS is coming with 2 year warranty against usual 1 year from Windek, Goodyear and others.
The price of 2 in 1 with vacuum and dediacted digital myTVS inflator is exactly same. So Makes sense to buy vacuum one.
3. Taking a close look at my failed inflator, It appears to fail because there is no way to lubricate or Grease the piston & Gears. This would gradually raise the friction till gears or motor fails. I just with they had a greasing point somewhere. Do the Metal ones have atleast some oil or greasing point?

Guys. Today I roamed around to try and get the broken gear mount welded.
I visited various welding Wallas I could find. (One who Makes steel furniture, Regular Iron Metal welding, Gas welding etc). After visiting 5 shops everyone denied to fix the part. Some said that the part is too small and will melt. Some said that the part is Aluminum alloy and welding will not hold.
So Finally I placed order for new inflator-

How about using two part epoxy thats made to join two metal parts? i.e Araldite or Asian Paints Loctite ("Rapid" for fast drying and "Tough" for strong bonding) is also excellent. However, this won't help if the gear mount is broken into many pieces.

The gear mount is broken in only one and critical place where it sees a lot of Torque and Vibration. The Gear Mount we see, Houses a Reduction gear (Smaller gear on Motor, Bigger gear on Mount) so that torque is quite amplified.
Also, I could not locate "JB weld" at any reasonable price in India.
