I have changed my Liva Wheels from 175/65 r14 to 185/65 r15. Overall comfort was very good but after 1 month I feel that this upsizing was not going to be suitable for my car. Cause stock tyre overall height is 23'' and This tyre has height is 24.5". Means this tyre was almost 1.5'' extra.
New tyre gives a wider look, super relaxed ride, good handling, but less mileage.
So now I'm going to change it with 185/60 r15 or 195/55 r15.
Guys here is a key point for you, always check height of wheel.
I know that low profile wheels looks too hot, But guys we are in india, we have have to maintain the side wall with minimum 55% of aspect ratio. 55% of aspect ratio looks good on car.
For Liva if you want to install r15 with low profile than you have following choices,
1) 195/55 r15 wide base
2) 185/55 r15 regular base
For Liva you can use following for regular sizes
1) 185/60 r15 OEM Wheels VXD/Cross/Etios Vxd
2) 185/65 r15 Extra side wall super comfort, good ground clearance, but low mileage
For High ground clearance with r14 you have following choices,
1) 185/65 r14 height will increases by 0.5''
2) 195/65 r14 height will increases by 1''
