It so happened that diagonal tyres of my Safari were loosing Pressure very slowly.
Navigator front and driver rear would sink after about 2 weeks of sitting. I removed the Tyres and sent to an Alignment/Puncture shop. Who could not find any puncture. I had inspected them and nor could I. Still I got the valves replaced as caution. But Nothing helped. The tyres would happily sink down to 15~20PSI after few weeks.
In comes the DOC TYRE sealant gel. I got The stuff from Flipkart, One litre costed 1000. Recommended dosage for large SUV tyres was about 500ML PER TYRE. I always wanted to try this stuff, But was skeptical as XUV tyres had delicate sensors which could be damaged. Now was the Perfect time with the Safari.
Since I did not have any significant puncture and there were stories of having steering vibration due to added weight, I added about 250ML in each tyre. Guess What, Tyres are holding up well, and after recent 700KM trip I am a happy man.
Since I had some leftovers, I installed small quantity (50ML) in my bicycle tyres as well.
Pros-
1.Seals Permeability issues or Tiny punctures which cannot be found
2.Easy to install at home, if you have a compressor.
3.Cheaper than SLIME
Cons-
1.Dark Black bottle with dark black liquid. Why can't they give proper Transparent bottle with Markings on the side?
2.Tool to remove valve pin was not provided along. Thankfully I had the tool myself, but many users will not have.
3.Too much quantity required to actually stop nails & Stuff as shown in commercials. Could cause balancing issues.
