Hi,

Last weekend went on a trip with colleagues from Bangalore to Udupi and Kundapur. We hired a TT and rented a guest House in Kodi Bengre area, which has river on 1 side, sea on the other. These beaches aren't so famous and have little crowd. We also visited the famous St. Mary's island, which absolutely beautiful. We explored the food i.e. sea food, crabs, fish and prawns. Posting some pictures of the trip.

Nice pictures (I think you loaded twice as it seems all pictures are duplicated).

I presume above pictures are of Udupi and Kundapur or only Kundapur?

(I think you loaded twice as it seems all pictures are duplicated).- I actually loaded once, but its displaying twice ( duplicating) @Mods, can it be rectified?
The last 3 pics are of St. Mary's Island, rest from Kodi Bengre and Kundapur.

Really nice photos, can you also provide brief information about your accommodation there.
We stayed at Vanya guest house ( google it), it costs around 10k for 2 nights. Its a 2 BHK fully furnished home. You can cook yourself or need to go about 3-4 kms for good food. Its right next to the beach, hardly about 20 meters, so its gets really chilly and loud ( waves) in the night. This place is about 10 kms from Udupi.

It's in St. Mary's island off Malpe beach, Udupi. Yes, these are safe for kids too.. Some areas are marked unsafe and they strictly enforce it.
Fishing port is Gangolli, off Kundapur coast. This is secluded beach, pretty safe though. We had dolphin sightings here, I have the videos but file too large to share. These are unexplored beaches, hence have retained their charm and are pristine and are not commercially exploited. Being within Karnataka its a quick getaway too.
