Converting Maruti 800 To My Dream Car – Suggestions Required.

Today's Update: I got some material out of my list to continue my work.

1. 12 mm Greenlam Raw Finished MDF Sheets (Size 8x4) Qty. 2 Pcs
2. 8 mm Greenlam Both Side Finished MDF Sheet (Size 8x4) 1 Pcs

Rest part of material and Tools will be arranged in 1 or 2 days. The actual design and shape should be finalized before made cutting marks on MDF.

Friends Any new work begins with a new way of thinking and idea. I'm trying to change my thinking in creativity. Lets do some work..

Before start cutting the MDF, I have make some drawings on paper to insure the perfection.

You are right, I am ready to compromise for some of 8 to 9 Inch space from both sides. And this will cover only up to round edge of panel flange. This will not affect the area of spare wheel compartment.

I will have option for spare wheel compartment lid separately with Hydraulic Air Suspension Support.

The Cost of tools as bellow:

A. Hand Drill (Non Branded) without Hammer Rs.900=00
B. Adjustable Round Cutter with Twin Tungsten Carbide Blades Rs. 480=00
C. Jigsaw Cutter with 3 sets of Wooden blades + 2 set of metal blades Rs. 4250=00
D. Bosh Hand Grinder Rs. 3800=00

Today's Update: Material cutting is started.

As an add on you might consider fitting illuminated door sill/scuff plates,really enahances the feel of the vehicle especially in dark.Iv fitted them for my fabia and connected them to the cabin light so the plates illuminate whenever you open the door.
