Ahead of its launch tomorrow, key details have been revealed about Toyota Raize compact SUV. Raize comes in a sporty, youthful package and offers a range of features across comfort and convenience, tech and safety. As a rebadged version of Daihatsu Rocky SUV, Toyota Raize utilizes the DNGA platform. A cost effective derivative of Toyota’s advanced TNGA modular architecture, DNGA is flexible and has been especially developed for Asian markets.

Dimensions of both Raize and Rocky are the same – 3,995 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and height of 1,620 mm. Raize comes with a spacious 369-litre boot, featuring a two-level storage space. The second level is located below the floor, which keeps it hidden from normal view. Turning radius is 5 meters.

I doubt Toyota will ever bring Raize to India, the most they will do is rebadge Vitara Breeza for us poor Indian's.
Our market is much inferior to Thailand and Indonesia.

Toyota Raize sub 4 meter SUV gets TRD Sport treatment

Toyota had recently launched the Raize SUV in Japan and now its TRD (Toyota Racing Department) & Modellista divisions have used their capabilities to introduce modified versions of the compact SUV.

While the Raize comes with multiple single-color options, TRD has upped the oomph factor by bringing in dual-tone elements for the Raize. TRD kit fitted Raize gets a new matte-black front spoiler, dual tone side skirts, contrast bumpers on the front and rear and the quintessential typical red TRD highlights and decals all across the body. On the inside too, there are places where the TRD name shines, for example on the red TRD-branded start/stop button and a TRD badged luggage mat.
