Here are the segment wise results of the Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) 2010. Maruti Suzuki Alto topped the list while the much hyped Tata Nano found a position at the bottom.

  • Entry Compact: Maruti Suzuki Alto
  • Premium Compact: Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilio &AStar
  • Upper Premium Compact: VW Polo & Maruti Suzuki Swift
  • Entry Mid-Size: Maruti Suzuki Swift DZiRE
  • Mid-Size: Honda City & Ford Fiesta
  • Premium Mid-Size: Toyota Corolla Altis
  • Entry Luxury: VW Passat
  • SUV / MPV: Toyota Innova & M&M Scorpio
  • Premium SUV: Honda CRV

No wonder why Maruti Suzuki continues to top the customer satisfaction survey. But the fire incidents appears to have severly affected the sales as well as the reputation of Tata Nano. Though Tatas are now doing everything to set the things back on the track.

Add me to that list. However i am delighted to see VW giving good service experience to their customers unlike Skoda.

I'm surprised to see Mahindra here. From my experience with Logan, Mahindra service station was under equipped with SAs lacking enough knowledge about the car.

Tata has a long way to grab a spot in this list.
