Thank you for sharing the Video here whackedonce!
Heres more info from Motorbeam:

Nissan has unveiled a futuristic concept car that tilts through corners up to an angle of 17 degrees to make drivers feel like they are
gliding through the air. The zero emission electric Land Glider can seat two people and is just 1.1 metres (3.6 feet) wide which helps it squeeze into tight parking spaces and through narrow streets. Instead of a steering wheel, it has airplane style controls. Inspired by motorbikes and glider aircraft, the four-wheel car has tilting wheels and moving fenders. Special sensors calculate the best tilt for negotiating a corner.

“In the past a car used to move only in a two dimensional way but the Land Glider can move in a three dimensional way,” Ryusuke Hayashi said. “Although you are driving on the road, you feel as if you are flying,” he added.

Honda Announces All New Step WGN; Debut at Tokyo Motor Show!

Honda Japan has begun selling the all-new fourth-generation Step WGN and the Step WGN special-needs vehicle. Their siblings the Step WGN Spada and Step WGN Spada special-needs vehicle will debut on October 23. Although most probable, Honda makes no mention of the Step WGN appearing at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The Step WGN is a multi-purpose vehicle with a flat low-floor and low centre of gravity. It will swallow up to eight passengers but still offer plenty of utility options. Length and height have been increased by 50mm and 45mm respectively for more room. Under-floor storage for third-row seats has been included alongside a whole array of other storage options. Some of the seats can be folded and flipped up to suit whatever occasion.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine said to make the Step WGN a class leader in fuel consumption figures. An average of 14.2 litres per 100km is returned under Japanese test specifications. Its mate can either be a CVT or a 5-speed automatic depending on the customer's needs. Both FWD and AWD are offered for the several models and packages.

Honda has designed it to be attractive with a sculpted front grille, large headlights and a roof that appears to slope rearward. The interior features things like 3D self-illuminated gauges for convenience.Prices start at ¥2,088,000 (€15,897/ US$24,400) including consumption tax.

Zinam, Actually a van is supposed to be a box, We cannot expect vans to be sleek looking like sedans. I liked this Honda, Its much advanced in terms of tec and design, These carmakers should think of introducing such vans in India because here we've very little such cars in this segment. If they are VFM then it will take no time to get popular among Taxi Operators.

Nissan debuts updated gt-r

Nissan has debuted the updated version of its all conquering GT-R at the ongoing Tokyo Motor show. The 2010 Nissan GT-R lineup will go on sale early next year.

You will strain your eyes for nothing if you are looking for ajor exterior changes because there aren’t any apart from the rear diffuser cooling ducts which are now available across the range.

The 2010 Nissan GT-R comes with stiffened rear suspension radius rod bushings and tweaks to front shocks and springs for added feel and increase accuracy. The recaliberated suspension according to Nissan offers enhanced ride quality while retaining the direct contact feel for the driver.
On the inside the only change is a new CARWINGS based HDD navigation system comes as standard.
The range topping GT-R SpecV gets revised rear shock absorber settings and new high performance tyres from Dunlop, although you can have it with Bridgestones as an option.

The whole lineup now also gets enhanced low and mid range engine response courtesy of the newly adopted hexagonal meshed catalysts that reduce ventilation/air flow resistance.

There is some change in plans about upcoming Tokyo Motorshow, Below is the full Press Release:

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Toshiyuki Shiga) has decided to hold the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show for ten days from December 2 (Friday) to December 11 (Sunday), 2011 (open to the public from Saturday, December 3) at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo).
The Tokyo Motor Show was held at the Tokyo International Trade Center in Harumi, Tokyo, for about 30 years from the 6th show in 1959 through the 27th show in 1987. Over the next 20 years from the 28th show in 1989 through the 41st show in 2009, 14 shows were held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba city, welcoming a total of 17 million visitors during the time and enhancing its position as an international motor show. Now for its next leap forward, the venue will be transferred to Tokyo Big Sight to mark its new start as a “reborn” Tokyo Motor Show.

The reborn 42nd Tokyo Motor Show will be a comprehensive one that includes passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, vehicle bodies, parts, machinery and tools. With the participation of major brands from Japan and abroad, this international motor show will serve as a hub to send out information about the latest next-generation safety and environment technologies from the automobile industry. At the same time, it will offer visitors the opportunity to rediscover the appeal, joy, and fun of cars and motorcycles by viewing, touching, and riding the actual latest models.
New features of the show currently under consideration include the showcasing of proposals for the ideal future society surrounding cars as well as proposals for new automobile lifestyles and culture. Specifically, there will be a Carrozzeria exhibit as well as participants from the fields of advanced ICT (information and communication technology), urban systems and environment/energy for a low-carbon society that is led globally by Japan.
The show will be open to the general public for ten days, three days shorter than the previous show in 2009. This creates a better environment for exhibitors from Japan and abroad. Like the previous show, two weekends have been included in the dates so that many visitors can attend. The call for exhibitors is slated to begin from early September this year.
