2 years gone, just like that [:)]
Covered a little less than 30k km. Blame the too many business trips and few overseas assignments for such a less mileage. Vehicle is due for it's 2 year / 40k km service. Sunny never let me down in this 2 years of ownership (touchwood) and I must say I'm quite satisfied with the machine. It doesn't mean this is a perfect car, there are issues like weak brakes, limited after sales network. But the overall satisfaction is level remains same from the day 1 of ownership.
- Excellent city driveability
- Above average highway performer
- Matured suspension (I'm running on a little stiffer suspension setup)
- Superb FE (the worst I got till date is 16.xxkmpl)
- Space space & space

PS: Saying all these, I still miss my Italian Beauty.

Sunny is a very good car from Nissan. Mileage which you got (above pictures) are really awesome for such a big machine. Its more than super bikes and double triple of SUV's.

Update @ 3+ years of ownership
- Covered a little over 43k on odo
- Completed 60k service a couple of months ago
- She is still a trouble free car (touchwood) and consistently delivering a very decent FE.
- Managed to 22.8 kmpl recently (after 60k km service, with injector cleaning)
- Latest add-on was Viofo A119 dash cam (worth every penny spent)

Hey Mr.Boss,
we too have diesel Nissan Sunny 2014 model which was a superb upgrade from our old TATA Vista. My Dad uses it most of the time for his local city Home-Office-Home route with just less than 30,000 km clocked in almost 4 years. I stay in different city due to my job and occasionally drive his car whenever I visit hometown.

Over the last few drives I felt like car is under performing than it used to. Dad being a regular user didn't notice, but as I use it occasionally I could realize it's not the same fun as compared to what it used to be.

Hence I need some information if you know about ECU remapping. I asked the local Nissan service center back home, and those dumb people were clueless about ECU mapping. So I just wanted to know if there are any new versions are available for this engine?

If yes, how much it costs to have it on our car?

Once you feel the car is under-powered than it used to be, there is no point in going for a remap. Get it sorted out first. IMO stock Sunny has sufficient power and torque for city use and above average performance on highways.

To answer your question, remaps from reputed service providers are available from 20k approx. Nissan A.S.S couldn't help on this regard.

Thanks Mr.Boss for your response. What could be the issue then with power drop? The voice I shared with service center did not reflect in fixing it. Can you suggest technical terms that I can convey them to check for this?

What could be the issue then with power drop?
- Clogged Intake / Exhaust system
- Failed Turbo / plumbing
- Clogged injectors / adulterated fuel
- Worn our clutch
- Catchy brakes (jammed caliper piston / brake cylinder)
- Insufficient tire pressure
- Worn our block liners / valve seats (less chance though)
