TATA Nano gold

The Tata Group on Monday unveiled a Nano car - made with gold and silver, and studded with precious stones - worth an astronomical over Rs 22 crore.
But, it's not for sale - the valuable and fully functional car is a unique branding and promotional initiative by Goldplus Jewellery, part of Titan Industries, a Tata Group company, an official said.
The mega-value Goldplus Nano Car was unveiled on Monday evening by Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata.
Nano though touted as being the cheapest car seems amongst the most expensive after a single car was given a golden overhaul to probably make it the most unaffordable car yet. Tata Motors and Tata's Titan Industries Goldplus have adorned the Nano with over 80 kilos of gold, as well as, 15 kilos of silver, precious stones and other semi precious jewelry.
Nano Gold is priced at Rs. 28,147 per ten grams and with over 80 kgs of the yellow metal used to decorate the Nano one can only guess its cost. Goldplus is a Tata owned jewelry chain that was responsible for this show of wealth atop the Nano. This car will be on display at some of the company's showrooms for the next six months and viewers can get a look at this show of opulence, or get a photograph of them sitting in a gold adorned Nano.
This is not the first time that Goldplus have come out with something so innovative. Some years back the company had designed the world's largest bangle which was over 6 ft in diameter and weighed 25 kgs.
