Perhaps they looks alike in pictures, But have a look at Winger in person. It's almost a mini-bus and not best when compared with Mercedes. But if speaking specifically about Winger, At Rs.7 Lakhs it sounds a great deal for commercial buyers or even large families can put it to a good use.

after so long wait. TATA has now launched winger platinum version finally. Priced at Rs. 7,40,000 ex-showroom Mumbai, it is aimed for domestic use rather than a Taxi or BPO cab purpose.

Creature comforts- It gets seven individual reclining captain seats, adjustable headrests, adjustable arm rests, individual AC vents, a 2-Din In Car Entertainment system with 4 speakers and a provision for LCD too. It gets hooks for hanging your Armani suits and two mobile phone charging points to charge your Vertu’s battery.

The engine remains unchanged-a 2L Turbo charged unit which produces 90bhp@4300 rpm and maximum torque of 190Nm between 2k and 3k rpm.
It is available in two colours-Pearl White and Cycus Grey. It is backed by a 1.5 lakh km / 18-month warranty to keep yourself tension-free. (info from motoroids.)

Tata Winger Platinum launched again, I guess that it was released already back in June this year? Anyways, it is a good van but primarily for cabbies, I doubt if many families would prefer buying a van at price tag of approx. eight lakh rupees in India, where you have several other options for much sophisticated multi-purpose vehicles.
