Tata has now started to take babysteps towards becoming an international auto giant in terms of selling their products abroad.Good thing that they are taking markets like Nepal and Sri Lanka seriously.

Vista with Abs & A'bags might be the most advanced and expensive Tata ever exported to Nepal.Wishing them luck in their future endeavours. GO STRONG TATA

Tata Indica Vista launched in Nepal @ Rs.11.86-16.50 lakhs !!

From trucks used in mining fields to the small hatchbacks reserved for city use, Tata Motors owns a big share in the automotive market of India thanks to its popularity, cost-conscious products and its widely spread service network.
Although most of its personal segment products land into the taxi market, certain products like the Nano and Manza are strictly for personal use.
Even if Tata’s commercial vehicles story began decades back in neighboring Nepal, the Nano’s launch made the biggest splash. Nepal was among the first export markets for the Nano.
To offer a complete range of cars, earlier this month, Tata introduced the Vista facelift to provide the customer the features, safety, performance, comfort and space of a sedan in a hatchback. The Nepalese market Vista sports the same features of the Indian model such as height adjustable driver seat, 2-din music system with built in Bluetooth, deep glove box that can accommodate a laptop, electrically controlled ORVMs, ABS with EBD, ELR seatbelts with pretensioners, tubeless tyre and twist beam suspension and gas filled shock absorbers.
Thanks to an obscene import duty on CBU products, the Tata Vista is priced between 11.86 lakhs to 16.5 lakh rupees in Nepal which sounds silly for a budget hatchback

it isnt that the cost is too much. one nepal rupee is 1.6 to 1 indian rupee. so the cost in indian rupees is roughly 7.5 to 10 lakhs. the price is justified for a CBU
