Nice pictures. My suggestion is to remove those plastics.

Auto manufacturers use plastic strips on metal trim panels and seats to prevent damages and stains during manufacturing and transport. These plastics are made from inferior and low quality plastics that are designed to be thrown away.

If you leave the plastic sheets covering the car seats, you are compromising your health. These thin plastic sheets secrete harmful chemicals during extreme weather conditions and you are breathing these chemicals while inside the car. To protect the brand new seats, the best option is to use seat covers.

@Nairrk Yeah I am gonna remove the plastics soon. Haven't received my registration number yet so havent gone out to get the seat covers installed. And I have taken out my cat twice in the car at night and the seat fabric is cat hair magnet !! :D I have ordered for the car vacuum cleaner which would help to remove the cat hair from seats.
Not sure when I am gonna get my registration number, I had received the payment received on 9th Sept but sadly no word on the registration number yet.

Interior pictures are great.
It's looking very premium!! Tata has given an interior which is way better than the competition.
And the best thing is that it is still continuing to improve and update the product.

It appears that Tata has changed the glossy dark grey theme in the dashboard to a more light colored theme having infinity triangular markings.
This is my Nexon, first generation. All the glossy grey coloured parts have been changed. You can compare the pictures posted in the last page by @bitanshudas.

Yes. The tri arrow design on the dashboard is available from XZ variant. The variants below XZ has light grey color plain dashboard same as older nexon.

Got my interior done today. Also got my number plate. Took it out for a spin on the highway for 50kms. Drove mostly around 60-70 mark in 4th n 5th gear and it was buttery smooth! Also tried cruise control and it was quite convenient too!
The voice commands doesnt seem to work yet on my nexon. Saw that its firmware dates dec 2019. So I am not sure if needs an upgrade. iRA got activated too. Didnt work in my parking which might be because of weak signal. Though the trips are syncing it seems although with delay. The rear window doesnt roll down completely which seemed a little annoying to my friend.
Driving with Sunroof open over 30kmph causes lot of air drag and vibration.

Interior is looking good. I noticed that the door plastic garnish is different looking too, and it is now black coloured as compared to earlier grey.
Please complain to the ASS about the voice commands not working. It might be a simple bug in the software issue.

Attention To small small details in Tata Nexon:
In this time and age when every manufacturer is doing cost cutting, and saving money by deleting important parts,Tata has taken care to cover even the strut mount bolts,to protect them from future risk of water ingress and rusting. These small details give me lot of satisfaction and prove that lots of love and care has gone into making this car.

Other cars front strut top mounting points: image source internet.
mind you they are cars from india as well as international cars from all types of segments

My Nexon:
Pics are self explanatory.

Note: All the 4 mounting bolts ,(and not just the central ones) are covered properly.

I don't know about the future, but I guess living the Nexon life (at least so far), is not bad. Not bad at all.

Wow, that looks nice and clean.

After seeing your Nexon's mount bolts, I just checked my Tigor's mount bolts, but unfortunately bolts are not visible as there is a long board fixed on top of the one side mount to the other side mount.

All this plastic is part of the design of cowl cover. I can't say if the strut point in your car will look like Nexon or not, but I can surely help you to view it.
You can view it by removing the plastic cover over the bolts. There is a notch seen in your pictures. You are supposed to lift the cover at this notch. After lifting the plastic flap, easily, using a flat head screw driver, you can view the strut mount bolts.
This flap will lock back in its place by simply pressing it.

Tata has kept the quality top notch in Nexon. There are mostly Delphi and Bosch parts in the engine bay.

Firewall packing is made of carpet like material and is quite thick. Will help in reducing NVH too.
But care must be taken not to put too much water on it while washing, because it holds water like crazy, and that too for very long time. Risks rusting in future.

AC compressor and piping is SANDEN make.

Please allow me to number your queries to answer them in a better way:

1) I see "Speed limit crossed" sign in odometer after crossing 80?
2) car doesnt rev beyond 2k RPM in 5th n 6th gears.
This is there in all the new vehicles. When you cross 80, there will a single beep also and when you cross 120 there will be continuous beep. It is a new law.
1) @ vijesh_360 answer is correct.
2) It's the rev limiter working.Designed this way.
