Come on guys, let him enjoy his ride.No need to spoil the fun, just because of seat covers.
@Beattheroad,we can always change the seat covers later on if we do not like it.Even if it is not liked it is still fulfilling at least one of its purpose,ie protecting the original covers from spill dirt etc.So just forget it and move on,and enjoy the primary thing :THE NEXON [;)][;)]

Thanks Mayank,
No problem with healthy discussion. I'm enjoying my rides with this funky machine. Clocked 1800+ today. Also even if I have paid little extra for seat covers I managed to save 20k on my insurance. As you rightly said these seat covers perfectly fulfill the prime objective to safe guard my original seats. Let's focus on Nexon then the seat covers. I'm totally in love with my nextee.

Regards

Hello Beattheroad , how is the ride? What is the average you are getting in the city? Will Your first service be due this month or the next month?? Post a few more pics of the interiors if possible.

The ride is wonderful till now, no problem at all except 5th gear slotting issue. Which I faced during initial days certainly it's disappear now. I never felt short of power or turbo lag. Breaking is little different compare to my Beat actually the initial punch is missing. But it's in habit now. I'm planning for first services at coming weekend.
I am little occupied with office work these days, will surely post some photographs soon.

Happy motoring

I have noticed that jerkiness on changing gears and gear slotting problem is more in city and sport mode.It actually increases progressively,as you move from economy towards sport mode.Despite of many members advising against it, I find the economy mode more relaxing ,with minimum jerks in the city.Things might change when on the highways though.I got an average of 21 in the citydriving in economy mode.

I had to share few photos of the pdi done at the dealership.
The rpm hovers around 700-750 during idling. .I have noticed that the temp gauge does not budge above the 1 mark.Is it alright??I mean is it reaching the operating temp or what?

Temperature gauge generally rises gradually ,say after 15 min from start ,it will reach mid value and will remain in mid value.(That's the perfect condition)

Recently had test ridden Nexon ,i was amazed by its build quality,a Ford's door closing feel.Only i didn't like the sales section attitude itself here, and am pretty sure the ASS will also be like that.

I have heard that they are changing, for the better. Already have changed a lot, again for the better. But its all hearsay, will experience it soon firsthand and then report.
