XUV 3OO getting very good reviews for the features it offer. Knowing M&M, they will price it aggressively for sure. Mahindra diesels are known for their peppiness and driveability. With Marazzo they got the ride department correct it seems. All in all XUV 3OO posts a big threat to Nexon for sure. Can we expect a XZ++ variant from TML now ?:stupid:

Tata Nexon passengers unhurt after a billboard pillar falls on the SUV – Video

Tata Nexon was quick to score a commendable 5-star NCAP rating when put through the front offset deformable barrier test at 64 km/h and side mobile barrier test at 64 km/h.
And while that enthused audiences, for the most part because it was the first time an Indian automaker had pulled off such a feat, nothing prepares you for an actual impact.

As this family found out earlier in the month. You never know what to expect when exposed to the elements. With the weather being overcast, and wind and thunderstorms for company, the occupants in this Dehradun registered Tata Nexon, decided to take cover and sit inside their Nexon, instead of standing in the open.

Tata Nexon gets two new safety features [Video]

The Tata Nexon has received two new safety features in order to comply with the upcoming Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program (BNVSAP) norms. The two key safety features added are a seat belt reminder warning system for the passenger seat, and a speed warning.

While the seat belt reminder is a visible warning on the instrument cluster, the speed warning has both visual and audible alerts. Notably, the audible alerts can’t be turned off, and an ECU remap will be needed to eliminate this warning. The video will give you an idea on how this warning system works.

I find the speed limit system a bit irritating. Now 80kmph is not that high on a highway but still you would be having a permanent symbol on the speedo. Also if someone is driving around 80kmph always going a bit up and down, system would make sound many times and it would be irritating. Also this makes sure no one drives above 120kmph which is kind of okay but they could have made it 125kmph better.

May be 80 kmph is the official speed limit for highways (In Kerala speed checkers are kept in the highways with a limit of 80 kmph maximum and if we try to go beyond that speed, the camera will catch you and you will get a Notice from RTO to pay the fine), and that could be a reason for Tata to set the warning level at that speed.?.

Not sure about other states, but definitely it will be more for express highways. If it is not the case, then keeping the limit of 80kmph is low and running time will be more even we get good 4 or 6 line roads.!

Is the speed limit warning customisable and can be applied to older cars too?

Though he has been driving on an express highway without A/c, but still 37.5 kmpl is something surprising and not easy to believe.?
This was an AMT. He could have achieved more with a manual and if it had cruise control and he was unlucky in the toll booths as well. Amazing for such a heavy car with such a powerful engine! He achieved 44kmpl in Honda City Diesel earlier by the way (of course its lighter, has substantially less power and has cruise control and is a bit more aerodynamic). I would love to see him doing a petrol mileage run especially on a Tiago Petrol. I'm sure he would cross 30kmpl! Dzire Diesel and Tiago Diesel are my other wishes.

Tata Nexon video shows all 10 safety features of the SUV

Tata Nexon is India’s first and only 5-star rated car when it comes to safety. Global NCAP awarded the perfect rating to the sub-4m compact SUV last year after Tata updated the vehicle and Global NCAP tested it again. Tata has released a video that highlights ten safety features of the Tata Nexon.

When i feel paint with hand on my new tata nexon (purchased it before few days) i feel some rough paint on few parts of door on both sides and on some parts of bonnet too and smooth on some other parts . Does it mean that my car is repainted by dealer ? or All other tata nexon cars also have rough paints on some parts of car ?
