TaMo can't be asking for silly money for Gravitas, which will have just 1 seat extra, considering the middle row with captain seats.
Prices will start around 14L for XE and around 21L for XZA+.
Beyond this TATA will be looking down the barrel.
I’m being sarcastic for pricing nothing else!![;)]
I know G R A V I T A S will be ₹ 70k to 1 lac higher than Harrier.
To all people who think pricing is top notch for Harrier, I want to explore one thing. Hexa is class leading product, was and it is better than competitors like XUV5OO but TML priced it high from day one and sales started decreasing. That created negative effect in the market and now you can see where that top class product stands in the sales.
First of all why TML don’t want to go with introductory pricing like Mahindra which will boost early sell and then it will give positive sales figures from starting, later price can be increased.
Sometimes I feel like TML don’t want to sell their cars (not the actual case but they act like that).

Checking the new Harrier, Tata should start marketing Harrier per its dimensions.

It is much bigger and better then Creta and should be pitched against likes of Tuscon and be portrayed as worthy contender to bigger names.

Not doubt Hexa had better comfort than any car below 30 L same should be shown for Harrier and prospective buyers should be enlightened that they are actually buying a premium size crossover rather then a Mid size.

Based on the driving dynamics and features available, Tata should not shy in getting comparisons done with bigger names.

Immediate comparison should be made with Tuscon / CRV and Harrier and prove how it matches the segment above.

Get a comparo done with GLC/X3/Harrier and let ppl decide what you get at less than half the price of luxo barges.

Cheers !!

Tata Harrier BS6 spied with ARAI testing device – Old Alloys

In spite of not being the cheapest 2.0-litre diesel five-seater SUV on the market, the BS6-compliant Tata Harrier still offers good value for money across its 15+ variants. The company has already shared the pricing-variant break-up of the Tata Harrier BS6 and now, a lower dual-tone variant of the same was spotted testing in Pune .

The test mule carried an ARAI emission-testing equipment at the back and wore the same 15-inch wheels as the current BS4 model. Higher variants of the BS6 Harrier come with new 16-inch five-spoke wheels that definitely look a lot better. As a first, the 2020 Tata Harrier will be available in Calypso Red shade as well.

Even though the overall aesthetics remain mostly identical to the outgoing BS4 model, the BS6 Harrier brings a host of additional features and equipment on the inside. For starters, the touchscreen infotainment system has been upgraded, driver seat gets 6-way power adjustability and higher variants sport a panoramic sunroof.

2020 Tata Harrier BS6: Variants Explained

Just a year after its launch, Tata Motors has again updated the Harrier and it's not only limited to the BS6 engine under its hood, but there are quite a few changes. The main is of course the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 engine that now belts 30 bhp more at 168 bhp at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm at 1750 - 2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard while a brand new 6-Speed automatic transmission sourced from Hyundai is also on offer in three variants. So the Harrier for the first time gets an automatic transmission.

The 2020 Tata Harrier BS6 will be sold in five variants and in five new colour options. Here's the list of what all each variant offers.

Tata Harrier XE
  • Power Steering
  • Tilt & Telescopic Adjustable Steering Wheel
  • Projector Headlamps
  • Dual Function DRLs with Turn Indicators
  • Dual Airbags (Driver & Co-Driver)
  • Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
  • Hill Hold Control
  • Traction Control
  • Rollover Mitigation

The more you look at this car, the more it grows on you.
Experience this literally.
Always been a fan of a more seat per car, and having big SUVs, for me I would have preferred Gravitas over Harrier however, I have started to like Harrier too.
Yes the price is quite steep and will have to save quite a lot before taking a plunge but none the less, this car has now given me an aim, to save. ;)

Tata expects over 50 percent Harrier sales to come from automatic variant

hx?n=http%3a%2f%2fcdni.autocarindia.com%2fExtraImages%2f20200319012222_Tata-Harrier-auto-sales-1.jpg

When it was launched in January 2019, the Tata Harrier was easily one of the most highly anticipated launches in the midsize SUV space. However, compared to the competition, the Harrier lacked a few key options at launch. It didn’t have a petrol engine or 4x4 to offer, but these were small misses compared to the absence of an automatic variant and a sunroof, which are now must-have features for high-end car buyers. With just a single diesel engine and manual gearbox option, Tata Motors sold over 17,000 units of the Harrier, which was certainly below expectations.

Now, more than a year later, Tata Motors is looking to make up for lost time and opportunities with the updated 2020 Harrier, which packs in a 6-automatic gearbox option and a largest-in-segment panoramic sunroof.

Second Free Service update @ 7500 km

Last week got my car serviced @7500 km. It was second free service.
While giving the car for service i mentioned following issues:
1. Minor rattling from passenger side doors.
2. Vibration from the front passenger side speaker.
3. Front brake issue.
4. Vehicle slightly pulling towards left.

All the above issues were rectified. For the brake issue, myself and the service technician took a long test ride of my car and the technician agreed that there is some issue in the discs. The front brake discs and pads were replaced FOC under warranty. Now brakes are working fine. Vehicle pulling was also rectified. Apart from that the audio software was also upgraded to the latest version. In the latest version we can customize different themes as we like.

Now car is running fine. No complaints about the service provided by Kaveri Tata, Trichy.
