Suzuki Motorcycle India launches The V-Strom 650XT ABS: Kawasaki Versys 650 Rival

Suzuki Motorcycle India has just launched the much-awaited adventurer tourer, the V-Strom 650XT ABS in India today.

The Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is equipped with a 645cc, 90 degrees V-twin motor, Suzuki hasn’t provided any numbers for the power figure but if its anything close to last years V-Strom then it probably still makes 66 bhp of power and 58 Nm of torque which sounds about sufficient to cruise.

The V-Strom 650 comes equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) as standard a three-stage traction control system (2 Mode + OFF Mode) that should help boost your confidence in extreme road conditions.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially teased the BS6 V-Strom 650 XT motorcycle on its official website. The listing hints at the fact that two-wheeler manufacturer will be launching the V-Strom 650 XT very soon in India. However, the company has not revealed a specific date for the launch as of now. Suzuki has silently updated its big bike line-up for India removing some of the prominent motorcycles from the website. With the current situation across the country due to coronavirus crisis, the company might be looking to launch the motorcycle once the lockdown is lifted.

Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT BS6 Launched In India; Priced At ₹ 8.84 Lakh

Suzuki Motorcycle India has finally launched the BS6 compliant V-Strom 650 XT priced at ₹ 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) ending a long wait. Compared to the BS4 version that retailed at ₹ 7.46 lakh, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT BS6 is more expensive by a whopping ₹ 1.38 lakh. The bike was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, following which a teaser was released in April. Originally slated to arrive by the middle of the year, the pandemic delayed the adventure tourer's arrival. The new Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT BS6 takes on the Kawasaki Versys 650 in the segment, with the latter priced at ₹ 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
