Meizu launches a wireless charging pad, GaN charger, Backpack and more!

Meizu GaN three-port charger features an ultra-high 65W power support. It is fully compatible with QC3.0, FCP, PD3.0, AFC, PPS, PE2.0 and other fast charging protocols. The charger is designed with three ports – two USB-C and one USB-A output port. Any single port can output 65W full power when used.

The charger comes with up to 27W power support for the Meizu 17 Pro and can also provide up to 10W output for other Qi-standard gadgets.

Xiaomi crowdfunds the world’s first zero-blue light Bedside Lamp

The bedside lamp features an LED light source and is developed by scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences of Nanchang University. The lamp uses a high-efficiency yellow LED as the core and red LED to achieve a phosphor-free, low colour temperature pure LED light source. This design is said to be different from the blue light filtering method adopted by similar products on the market. Instead, the Midian Zero-blu-ray Bedside Sleep Aid Lamp eliminates the use of blue light from the source and is entirely blue light free. Thus, will not harm the human eye structure, even for babies.

Xiaomi launches the MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer for 899 Yuan ($126)

The MIJIA Smart Clothes Dryer, as the name suggests, is a product that helps dry clothes. Although, how it does so is what sets it apart from conventional home products. It adopts a crossbar design alongside various hooks that enables it to carry a total load of 35 kilograms, while its bar can be extended up to 2.2 meters. Xiaomi launches Mi Router AX1800 with Wi-Fi 6 support for 299 yuan ($42) in China

It features hidden dual-band high-performance antenna that aims to offer a strong 360-degree signal coverage. Both frequency ranges — 2.4GHz and 5GHz have two Qorvo high-performance independent signal amplifiers which increased signal strength by 4dB which should increase coverage by 50 percent.

The router comes packed with 256GB of RAM and has Mesh Networking support for seamless signal coverage in the house. The Xiaomi Mi Router AX1800 supports connection of up to 128 devices simultaneously.

It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm APQ6000 chipset with dedicated NPU, and comes with support for OFDMA technology (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) which allows the router to send data to multiple terminal devices using only one transmission.

Xiaomi launches the Mi Air2 SE TWS Earphones priced at 169 yuan (~$24)

In terms of appearance, the Mi Air2 SE adopts a similar half-in-ear design as its sibling but comes with a unilateral weight of just 4.7g. The Mi Air2 SE utilises a built-in 14.2mm composite moving-coil diaphragm and has an impedance of 32 ohms. The earbud supports SBC / AAC audio codec, Bluetooth 5.0 protocol, dual noise reduction, etc. Each of the earbuds supports up to 5 hours of playback on a full charge. The charging box can extend the battery life to 20 hours. With a USB-C interface, the charging box can be refilled quickly.

As for functionality, the Mi Air2 SE is said to have deep customization with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI ROM. When the charging box is opened, the phone will pop up the headset connection interface. After connecting, you can check the power of the headset and the battery level of the charging box.

ZOOOK Infra Temp thermometer launched at Rs 3999, checks your temperature without contact

French brand ZOOOK, has launched a contact-less Medical Grade thermometer developed in accordance with the requirements in the wake of Covid-19.

The infrared digital dual mode thermometer, named Infra Temp, enables quick detection of the temperature of a body or a surface. ZOOOK Infra Temp is available on Amazon and is priced at Rs 3999. Without touching the surface, it acquires accurate temperature reading within one second.

The non-contact thermometer, which comes with a one-year warranty, has an inbuilt alert mechanism and rings an alarm if the temperature is beyond the permissible limit. Also part of the mechanism is light-based alerts, wherein screen light turns white, orange and red for normal temperature, high temperature and fever, respectively.

Logitech Circle View camera with built-in privacy controls launched for $160

The Circle View is capable of recording 1080p videos and has a wide 180-degree field of view. The camera can capture infrared footage at night up to 15 feet away. The camera only supports WiFi 2.4GHz.

As regards working with Apple’s HomeKit smart home system, the camera is capable of streaming videos, send alerts about animals, people, and vehicles, and store recordings in iCloud if you are on a plan with enough storage. There’s no Android support but we could see that happen in the near future.

Xiaomi launches XiaoAI Art Speaker in China for 299 yuan ($42)

After teasing it a few days ago, Xiaomi has today officially launched the XiaoAI Art Speaker in its home market. With this launch, it has become the first XiaoAI speaker from the company to come with a metal body.

It has a textured metal body design with 16 million color aurora light strips. The outer body has a matte fine stone pattern and comes with seamlessly integrated touch buttons. The device comes packed with a 2.5-inch full-range speaker.

There’s also a special paper carcass and voice coil and a U-shaped duct for bass enhancement, along with DTS professional sound tuning and Stereo 2.0 support. So, two of these can be connected together for a true stereo sound experience.
