Oh i though it will be for sale.

Any normal security system must be ok with the 800. They have immobilisers.

B/w any car can be started and stolen inspite of security.

Autocop remote system or minda remote system must be fine and easy on your pocket.(This is to save car.)

Earlier auto cop(piranha model) had touch sensor too . That must safe guard the stereo and ecm units

Immobilisers may seem difficult to crack.

but is a piece of cake for non ecm cars .

Need some hard work for ecm 'ed cars . But can be broken
Do you know where Indica, Indigo's ECM is located. I have seen a box below the dash in co-drivers side. Is that the ECM?

indica/indigo tdi do not have ecm

Dicor have ecm covered with a rubber part. that is the ecm. Inside the bonnet

The part you say is the blower unit
How come indica/indigo tdi doesnt have ECM?[surprise] How the check engine light will be there if there is no ECM?
Even its manual says to check the ECM if the check engine light glows even after engine start.

I'll check the Autocop but what about Fuel Cut-Off System?

It will be used for general family purposes but spending few grands to protect ~3 Lakhs is acceptable. Isn't it?

Re: Automotive Safety & Security Features Thread

Gentlemen

A friend of mine is buying a Honda city and is currently looking to install Autocop in it (the one with the motion sensor as well) - however whats the impact on warranty as the process might involve wire cutting ?
Any clues/work arounds would be useful..

My friend, with all the experiences from Autocop these days it has become more useless with frequent failures, hence I warn you going for any Autocop thing. Better go for something else !![:)]
