Barely a couple of days back, we talked about the possibility of Maruti launching a facelifted WagonR and today we have the product in front of our eyes.
In our earlier article we were surprised that no spy pics have emerged and we now have the complete car visible. Maruti Suzuki, in its latest commercial advertisement where they depict that Indian’s love celebrating ‘Festivals’, has revealed the upcoming facelifted WagonR completely. If this is intentional or not, is not known but this can just not be a faux pas!
What is Different?
As expected the new WagonR doesn’t have many differences and is a minor modification job.
Redesigned grille
New Air Dam
Modified bumper
New fog lamp housings
The rear appears to be exactly similar to the current version’s. The advertisement also features a small glimpse of the interiors of the car and they appear to be as roomier as they currently are. The engine and other mechanicals are expected to be untouched. With these changes the new WagonR looks taller than the current model, making it an even disproportionate looker than ever before. We are a little surprised that Maruti is considering replacing the current model which is not even one year old with this new facelifted version. This new look WagonR might just be launched this month itself.
