Great, Detailed and Fantastic review.
Glued with review on 1st page, 1st post with the history of Renault.

It may dent on Innova and Xylo sales just in taxi segment.
But, as a personal choice vehicle, Innova still looks good in design.

Xylo is already a sales dud and this may be the final nail.
Innova [confused] couldn't say we have to wait and see for six months .
And guys what do you think about pricing is it VFM ?

Buddy, I would like to share my views on the above. Foremost, right from standard version to top version in Lodgy one gets ABS so which means safety begins from base model itself. Space wise, as I saw yesterday, the car is really spacious and I am sure it will seat 8 people due to roomy cabin. Then in competitors, their basic models are not that appealing feature wise and the Lodgy is. If I for example talk of Ertiga, then its comparatively tight in seating than Lodgy. As of the price, when the Renault India Chief announced it, that moment the hall was full of claps and appreciation, Ertiga still might work out due to Maruti Badge, but Lodgy does pose a potential threat to it in all respects across the models/variant. Talking in comparison to Mobilio, already except for the Honda's Engine, there is nothing really worth that one can say about the Mobilio. Renault's lodgy, in my view, has struck like a nail in Mobilio's coffin.

Will eat into innova sales as its more fuel effiecient, less expensive , less noise premium features. Innova should now decline in sales figure of 5K per month to around 2k a month in 3-4 months

I doubt it will dent on Innova sale. I went to auto show organized by Times of India in Bangalore.
There happened to have a close look on Lodgy.
1st impression was
1. MUV looks small in height, quite similar to Ertiga and Chevy Enjoy.(rear is purely similar to Enjoy)
2. Space is a USP in Lodgy
3. when compared the specs on website, got to know, yes, it is less in height. just few millimeter makes this much difference in looks. [surprise]

May be the good point will be, its low seating positions that will lead to less body roll.
Otherwise, car looks small when compared with Innova.

Attached is the spec sheet and on road price of Bangalore.

I remember, when Ertiga was launched, it was considered as threat to Innova.
Someone needs to come out of the box to beat this Japanese [frustration]
