Recently there was an advertisement in various newspapers for appointment of Renault dealers all over the country.

I happen to contact them and they are now coming directly into the indian market by 2011.

Will this change bring any fortune for RENAULT in India.

let us see but renault does not have even one individual dealership / ASS in india so they will first need to generate some hype by launching mouth watering cars like fiat did! and also they already have quite populr logan in india so it may benifit them.

Are you sure Renault is establishing independently?AFAIK they will be entering india in collaboration with Nissan. I recently read an article of megane where this car was mentioned as Renault Nissan Megane.

Anuprav, Can you post a scanned copy / picture of one of those advertisements? It’d be interesting to see how Renault performs in India alone and yes, Logan brand has earned a little familiarity of Indians for the car maker.

Yes. Renault is breaking out JV soon.

But a global major VW is not yet to capture market in India!!

I seriously doubt the presence of French major here.

But things will change soon when Renault Clio launches here.

I will post the scanned copy of the Advertisement of Renault. You can talk at 9500072379 who is looking after the dealership appointment querries.

When I called him he said to me that its an independent Renault venture.

Thinking of applying [;)]

Regarding Renault and nissan JV you are correct they have signed the MOU.
