Hello Guyz,

Wanted to share my experience in Pune RTO office for Removing hypothecation.
Well, there are other posts too; but its now much more simpler and cool ...

So the Documents part first.
Set1 (Bank/Financer Provided Docs)
1. NOC
2. Form35 - 2 copies
3. Trade certificate

Set2 (Owner/Car Details - Xerox)
4. Insurance copy (current)
5. PUC
6. Aadhar card
7. Driving License
8. RC (Original)
9. Online Payment Receipt
10. 2 PP size photo

Online Payment Process.
https://parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/ui/statevalidation/homepage.xhtml

a> Enter Vehicle Number

b> Click on Misc section (Circled one)

c> Enter Chasis Number, Mobile number & Generate OTP (OTP service is quite slow).

d> In the Hypothecation section, click on terminate. Enter Loan closure date.
Update your Insurance details, and click on Payment button at bottom.

e> Take 2 printout of payment receipt.

Now, after arranging all documents; just go to counter 26.
The person will verify all documents, Ask you to write mobile number and affix photo.

Then go to counter 27, The person will re-verify & re-arrange the docs.
He will give you a receipt token with Vehicle number, date and RTO seal.
RC will be at your door-step in 1 month.

Total time taken - 10 minutes. Yeh, less than 10 min.

Cheers !!!

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your experience. From where did you got the Trade Certificate(Form 17)? RTO says that bank will give form 17 along with NOC & form 35. Bank says they don't know what's form 17. Please help. FYI my bank is Kotak Bank.

Hi Dear, can you please confirm if physical presence of vehicle owner is mandatory or someone else on his behalf can do the needful at RTO.
