3 dead as car collides with lorry in Ponnani

Ponnani: Three people died in an accident involving a car and lorry at Ponnani here last midnight. The deceased were all car passengers who were natives of Tirur BP Angadi. Kottathara native Noushad was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. BP Angadi natives Ahmed Faisal, Subaida and Noufal are the deceased

The accident occurred near a petrol pumb located next to Shakti theatre on Saturday night at 12. They were returning from Palappetty after visiting one of their relative’s house. Their car collided with a national permit lorry that was coming in the opposite direction

10 killed, 22 injured in bus-truck collision Rajasthan's in Bikaner

At least 10 people killed and 22 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Rajasthan's Bikaner district at around 7:15 am on Monday. According to PTI reports, the bus was on its way to Jaipur from Bikaner when the incident occurred on National Highway 11 near Dungargarh area. Earlier, police had put the death toll at 14.

At least seven people were killed and 15 injured after a van fell off a bridge in north Maharashtra's Dhule tehsil on Saturday.

The accident took place near Vinchur village on the Dhule-Solapur Road shortly after midnight.

Overspeeding truck rams into an auto rickshaw, kills school teacher in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: A passerby was killed and one other was injured after a truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw in Mangaluru. The horrific visuals were caught on a CCTV camera. The victim has been identified as 55-year-old school teacher Shailaja. The footage of the video, accessed by Times Now, shows a truck ramming into an auto-rickshaw and dragging it along. While the driver of the auto-rickshaw is seen falling off the vehicle, the woman lost her life in the accident.

Kia Seltos falls off first floor of dealership in Mumbai

Brand new Kia Seltos which was being displayed at the Navi Mumbai dealership in Panvel, has fallen off the building.
For many, there’s a sense of wonder when we see magnificently lit gigantic glass facade dealerships displaying their ware. For the untrained eye, this magical display is nothing short of a sight to behold.

Behind such grand displays, for the most part is a ramp or car lift. The larger the showroom, the possibility of an in house lift. Others mostly rely on a car lift.

One such seemingly ordinary placement hasn’t gone as planned. A Kia Seltos has come hurtling down, and taken with it one face of first floor glass front. The car seems to have taken a big hit upfront, indicating a fall, front first. Below is a video shared by a bystander.

4 from Kerala on way to city airport killed in car accident

COIMBATORE: Four Keralites were killed on Thursday night after a car collided with a tanker lorry at the National Highway near Madukkara in Coimbatore. It is learnt that all the deceased people hail from Palakkad. According to sources, the deceased have been identified as Ramesh, Adisha, Meera and Hrishikesh. Sources said that four others, who got injured in the accident, have been admitted to a nearby hospital. It is learnt that the group was on their way to the airport when the accident took place.

The accident happened yesterday in Payyannur (Kannur District). A swift car driven by 19 year old first hit a Bike and Scooter and then smashed the roadside Shop. Both scooter and bike guys are in serious condition. The police report says that the driver of the car is missing (seems escaped from the scene, fearing action from the public).

Most probably the driver of swift didn't have driving license,or maybe he was under the influence of alcohol. By the time law catches up with the driver, alcohol will disappear from his system.

Seeing the condition of the car, definitely the driver might also have gotten injured and under treatment some hospital nearby. Police can easily traceable, if he has been admitted for treatment. Two injured as speeding Mercedes turns turtle in Greater Noida

Two people were injured after a speeding Mercedes Benz CLA overturned in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida on Saturday. The car was coming from Noida and was heading towards Greater Noida when the driver reportedly lost control of the speeding car before it turned up-side down. The car skid for a distance of 50 to 60 meter after it was turned over.
The highway authority rescue team members rushed the spot and sent the injured driver and co-driver to the nearest hospital.

4 killed as bus runs over car in Vaikom (Kerala)

Kottayam: Four persons were killed in an early morning mishap at Cherumchuvadu at Vaikom when a bus ran over a car. Among the deceased, 2 were women a
nd 2 men. The identity of the body is yet to be ascertained.

The accident happened at about 5.45 on Tuesday morning near Cherumchuvadu bridge on the Kottayam-Vaikom route. Eye witnesses said the speeding bus ran
over the car and the vehicle had to be cut open to take out the dead bodies. All the 4 died on the spot itself.

The car was completely crushed in the mishap. Around 10 bus passengers sustained injuries.
