Caught live accident of Tata Nexon today from my dashcam

It's debatable on who is at fault here. In general, whoever hits from the back is at fault, the truck driver in this case. Also note there is no lane marking on the road.

But practically its definitely the nexon. Seems to be driven by a novice. Look how close he gets to black fortuner after mishap too.
He just got into Truck's blind spot Without using Side indicators. Also expecting trucks to brake as urgenty as an SUV is not practical.

Nexon is dilly-dilaying into traffic like a small rickshaw without keeping decent safety margins around nor clarifying by using signals. Looks like the guy upgraded from something small like Alto/Wagon R and does not have good hold on the dimensions & Length of the vehicle.

True. When the car owner called me for the footage she mentioned that it was her brother driving the car and not the actual owner who uses that car regularly.
I believe the driver is used to driving a different car (probably the smaller one as you mentioned) and not Nexon hence he clearly mis-judged the length of the vehicle when merging.

That’s the moment we make our final impressions about our decision, it’s an experience that one remembers for a long long time but a woman who recently went out for a test drive of the BMW X1 luxury SUV will not be able to forget it for an entirely different reason. After enjoying the test drive in the posh SUV the woman was returning to the dealer’s parking lot and that’s exactly when things went differently as expected. As the prospective buyer was parking the car in front of the dealership, she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. What happened next can be seen in the video below.

The woman suddenly smashed the car into the dealership got stuck for a while after hitting the pillar, but the things didn’t stop there, she likely didn’t take her foot off the accelerator and rammed the BMW X1 inside the front desk of the dealership located at southern China’s Guangzhou.

Thanks to the safety features inside the SUV, both the driver and the salesperson went out safe, while the employees inside the dealership ran for their lives after seeing the SUV rushing towards them. None of the employees were injured. Reportedly, the woman has agreed to accept the full responsibility for the accident and the dealer’s insurance company is currently estimating the total damages.

Harikrishna sustained critical head injuries when the car in which he was travelling along with two others overturned while overtaking another vehicle near Anneparthi.​

TDP founder NTR’s son and actor-politician Nandamuri Harikrishna died in a road accident in Telangana’s Nalgonda district early on Wednesday, doctors said. He was 61. Harikrishna sustained critical head injuries when the car in which he was travelling along with two others overturned while overtaking another vehicle near Anneparthi. The vehicle hit the divider and collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. He was shifted to Kamineni Hospital at Narketpally, where he succumbed.

The accident occurred when a speeding sedan rammed a parked truck near Devanahalli. Three second-year MBBS students of Kembegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru- Prajwal M.J. 20, of Tumakuru, Vishal Chaoudhary, 20, of Dodda Belavangala and Bhushan, 21, of Jigani - were killed on the spot after they were impaled by iron rods in the truck. Kumar Raj, final-Year MBBS student of the same college, who was driving the Chevrolet Cruze LTZ, was admitted to hospital with injuries and is unconscious.

Plane crashes on a moving Tesla Model X – Owner escapes unhurt, thanks Tesla

Oniel Kurup was in his car with his son when a plane crashlanded. On his car. His Tesla Model X took a hit but that’s about it. His son and he made it out absolutely fine, though shaken.

The small plane appears to be a Cessna 206 and was in fact a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) plane. It collided with Oniel’s Tesla Model X and came to a stop a short distance away. The accident occurred at Sugar Land, Texas with 3 agents onboard. A special agent was reported injured, and has been released from hospital.

Earlier today, this is what Oniel Kurup’s Facebook update was, “Many saw this on the news just now. And I’m getting calls with concerns about our safety. Want to let all my friends and family know that Aarav and I are completely fine.. GOD and this CAR truly saved us today.

Not a scratch on us. No one believed me when I called them to let them know a plane crashed into me. Tesla, people thought It was a prank call. Wife laughed at me at first.. Jokes aside, this was a serious matter, I saw my life flash in that minute. A second is all it takes.”

The DEA airplane developed a mechanical problem during training, and the pilot attempted a road landing. The plane made contact with several vehicles on the road, and power lines.

Volvo bus swallowed by overflowing Beas river in Manali – Video

Heavy rains in the upper region of Kashmir has resulted in overflowing rivers in the Manali region. Leh-Manali highway has been closed.

A weather advisory circulated yesterday stated that the highway connecting Manali and Leh would be closed for at least 48 hours owing to heavy snow and plenty of rainfall. Locals and tourists have been advised to not travel, and official state transport bus services have been temporarily suspended across multiple routes.

Earlier today, Chandigarh-Manali highway more the brunt of river Beas flooding with water submerging parts of the road as it raged onward. Beas’ water level rose after a cloudburst at Fozal, Kullu district.

While road users were stranded earlier in the day, Himachal Pradesh government has announced that schools, colleges and ITIs will remain closed in Kullu and Kinnaur districts on Monday.

As the river takes with it what it fancies, an unoccupied parked bus was swallowed by raging waters from the parking spot that’s a stop point when heading up to the mountains from Manali. This current spell of monsoon revival has brought with it continued moderate/heavy rains that have now lashed on for more than 24 hours. Multiple safety warnings have been circulated so folks don’t head out near the river path or rivulets. Below are videos shared by readers who are currently in Manali.

Noida: A bizarre incident transpired in Uttar Pradesh's Noida city when a property dealer rammed his luxury four-wheeler into a divider while trying to spit gutkha from his moving vehicle. Greater Noida police while confirming the incident told a national daily that the victim was alone in the car at the time of the incident.

A security guard employed with a private resident told The Times of India that he saw the driver of the Jaguar vehicle peeped his head out to spit 'gutkha/pan' masala. At a speed of around 120 km/h, he lost control of the car and rammed it into the divider, added the eyewitness.

Mahaveer, the guard, further said that he along with a passerby driving a Scorpio rushed the victim to a hospital. A neighbour of the victim Prashant Kasana aged 27, said that Kasana suffered severe head injuries and had to be referred to a private hospital in Delhi's Sarita Vihar. Establishing a timeline, police officials familiar with the investigation said that Kasana was moved to the private hospital in the wee hours of Friday. However, the man succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Saturday morning.

While no case has been registered in this regard, a PCR reached the spot of the accident to register the incident. A study of accidents on the Yamuna Expressway's section joining Noida and Greater Noida asserted, "Road fatality rates in India are probably among the highest and out of 1.25 million deaths worldwide every year, 8-10 per cent of all road deaths are in India."

The study went further to state, “Cross movement facilities for the vehicles are provided at villages. Bus shelters are provided near villages and major stops. Road is open for all users whether fast or slow. There is no establishment specially meant for enforcement and access control on the road,” referring to vehicular movement on the roads of Noida and Greater Noida.
