Suzuki Swift Sport Gets a Ravishing Makeover by Kuhl Racing – Photos

It’s unlikely to be launched in Indian market, but that does not stop car enthusiasts from drooling over Suzuki Swift Sport. Built for power and superior styling, Suzuki Swift Sport is available in international markets such as Japan, Australia and UK.

The car already looks bold & beautiful, but now, leading Japan-based car customizer Kuhl Racing has enhanced its styling even further. Kuhl Racing has modified the car and created a complete aero kit for Swift Sport and we must say the final outcome looks absolutely ravishing.

On the front, the bumper gets a prominent front splitter and stylized winglets at the edges. These modifications render a striking, squarish jaw profile to the front-end, which gives it a dominating appearance. The front is now a lot livelier as well with body-coloured ‘eyebrows’ added to the headlamps.

On the sides, we can see asymmetrically designed skirts that immediately grab your attention. To match the road-hugging feature of sports cars, the modified car’s suspension has been tweaked to reduce ground clearance. Alloys have also been customized and now they are noticeably larger, featuring wider tires for improved traction and stability at high speeds.

At the rear, the restyled bumpers come with a large rear diffuser and dual tailpipes are beautifully encased in faux-carbon housing. Suzuki logo and badging have been replaced with that of Kuhl Racing. However, no changes have been made to the interiors or the car’s performance. May be Kuhl Racing will consider that as a separate project in the future.

Original Suzuki Swift Sport has a 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine that delivers max power of 140 PS and max torque of 230 Nm. Engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that drives the front wheels. A notable aspect about Swift Sport is that it can reach 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.1 seconds. Suzuki also claims that the car has achieved top speed of 210 kmph.

The reason why Swift Sport may not be launched in India is that its 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine is quite costly. Coupled with high duty on imports, the ex-showroom price of Swift Sport will be too high for this segment. Costly hatchbacks have failed to get customers in India, as can be seen with earlier launches such as Volkswagen GTI and Abarth 595. Indian customers with more money to spare will most probably choose a top-end sedan or SUV, which is why Suzuki is unlikely to launch Swift Sport in the Indian market.

This modified Hindustan Contessa is as good as it can get

We have been covering many modified Contessas and bringing them to you in past. Some of them looked great, some drove nicely while some were good to be in. Today however we bring you a Contessa which has all those attributes rolled in one. This conversion has been tastefully done by SUN Enterprises which is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. They have been doing many other mod jobs since quite a long time, but this is easily among their best.

For those who are not familiar with the Contessa, it can be said to be India’s first and only indigenous muscle car. Though the company, Hindustan Motors, based the car upon Vauxhall VX, they did quite a commendable job to make it as Indian as possible. It was launched in 1984 and continued its stint until 2002.

Coming back to this lovely modified piece, let’s first talk about changes on the outside. As a start, the car now gets custom made front bumper and grille unit. The thick white metal chunk running along the length of the car at front gives it a distinct, cool look. The headlights to are custom made and feature different lighting along with circular light rings.

Coming to the rear, the stock bumper has gone and in comes a customised unit in its place.Another striking feature is the three-unit circular tail lamps which look retro and modern at the same time and add to the overall character of the car.

The Contessa now rides on 17” Alloy wheels and comes shod with 215/45/R17 tyres. The rims look very good and modern and are among the best part of the car. The car has been given a full glossy paint job Full Body Painting which looks striking.

On the mechanical bits, the car gets the HM MPFI Petrol engine, retained bone stock. It also now comes with power steering. On the inside, the car features custom made dashboard which lends an upmarket feel inside. The seats are also custom-made leather ones with diamond quilted pattern. Other notable changes include new door pads, a robust AC unit, centre locking, and the much-needed power windows.

Another area where this mod job excels is in in car entertainment system. The car now gets an Alpine touchscreen, Alpine component speakers in front and Alpine co axial speakers at the rear. It further gets rocked by an Alpine 4 channel Amplifier, Alpine Subwoofer, Custom made boot panels and ambient lightning to boot.

It can be said that this Contessa is easily among the better ones to roam our roads. It’s not only been altered aesthetically but also on all other grounds. Radical, ain’t it!

This modified Hindustan Contessa is as good as it can get
Contessa was one hell of a premium sedan of my childhood years. Those rear seats had wonderful comfort and one can really go to sleep in long trips. Having traveled from Noida to Chandigarh ample number of times in this car in those years, I must say, this car had unmatched elegance and comfort. The Contessa was & still is the most bad-ass modification friendly car. In pics above, the only thing that I did not like were those illuminated letters on the left corner of dashboard.

Ford Endeavour: 5 gorgeously modified examples from around India

Ford Endeavour looks quite menacing on the road even in the stock form. With a few modifications, it can transform itself into a monstrous-looking vehicle. Here are five muscular modified Ford Endeavour SUVs that can turn any head on the road.

Final Assualt

This is one the most extremely modified Ford Endeavours in India. Modified by Autobacs, it gets a long list of modifications and looks absolutely brutal. To start with, the Endeavour gets a wide body kit complete with aftermarket fenders, bumpers and a new bonnet lid. It also gets a suspension lift kit with aftermarket rims and 33-inch mud terrain tyres. The front grille and the lamps mounted on the rooftop are inspired by Raptor and it adds a character to the vehicle. There is also an aftermarket snorkel that increases the water wading depth of the SUV.

Black Monster

Here is a Ford Endeavour SUV that gets a pimped up engine for better performance. The all-black SUV gets an Evotech performance tune that increases the power output but the exact output is not known. It gets a 20-inch off-road spec rim wrapped in Cooper tyres. It gets electric side steps and two auxiliary lamps from Lightforce. There is also an LED lightbar installed on the lower side of the bumper. There is not a single spec of chrome on this SUV, giving it a very brawny look.

Mustang

Here is a Ford Endeavour that is inspired by the muscle car Ford Mustang. It gets a bright red paint job with racing stripes similar to the ones we see on the Mustang. It also gets the headlamps with three LED elements similar to the Mustang. It sure looks great in the colour scheme and attracts a lot of attention on the road.

Classy

Here is an all-black Ford Endeavour with all the chrome deleted from the body. All the logos have also been removed to give it a clean look. The front grille has been updated with a mesh-type one while the alloy wheels have been upgraded to larger ones. The whole set-up looks very simple yet very powerful. It sure knows how to turn the heads on the roads.

Colour coordinated

Most of the big SUVs are only seen in white or black. Here is a white Ford Endeavour that has received a nice colour coordinated job. The SUV gets an aftermarket body kit with the bumper spoiler. It gets red accents on the front bumper element, roof rails and the aftermarket grille. Overall, the modifications are very simple yet make the vehicle look extremely different.

Bentley Continental GT modified into a off roader is BATSHIT crazy [Video]

The world is quite a strange place and we couldn’t agree more after seeing this video. Clearly, there’s a difference between a luxury grand tourer like the Bentley Continental GT and a wild off road vehicle. But that’s where the lines have been blurred. Some guys with enough resources at their hands decided to go off-road in a Bentley Continental GT. We’ll take you through the rest of the details but before that, just go through the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0kgGBq3s48#action=share

After all the alterations and modifications, the car now does amazingly on the dirt track. It gets through all the terrain without much hiccup and the objective seems to have been achieved.

Pre-facelift Hyundai Creta converted to look like New Creta for just Rs 16k

old-hyundai-creta-new-hyundai-creta-modify.jpg

It is clearly evident from the video how the front end gets modified. The front bumper is made up of three parts. Changes can be made to these parts by just affixing the new bumper to the hooks of the pre-facelift model at a cost of Rs 1,500 per piece while painting is an additional Rs 1,500. These changes are restricted to just two parts which are painted silver to exactly match the rest of the body color.

The next change to make the old Hyundai Creta look like the facelift version are the fog lamps. Watch the detailed video below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihXedXRRFdE#action=share

These are the most expensive part of the makeover costing Rs 5,000 a piece. The grille also gets modified at Rs 1,500 taking total to Rs 16,000 while it would take some extra charges to get these pieces fitted.

+100% Jayesh, Omni is the best executed dune buggy by an Indian enthusiast.

Love the engine hood with the Jeep type holders, and the boot, although a 2 seater arrangement would have looked better.

Thanks for the details nairrk ji.

Ford Figo with widebody kit looks BONKERS!

Ford has recently updated the Figo aspire sedan and the hatchback version will be following the suit in the coming months. What we bring you today however, is a custom widebody Figo which looks quite cool. While you may have seen many Swift and i20 mods, Figo is somewhat less touched by the modifiers. But guys at GFI motomods have done quite a good job with the car and made it a looker.
