Just wanted to share some interesting bit:
It's so easy to change stabilizer bar bushes on a Ladder On Frame car/SUV,like yours. The bar is right in front, ahead of the radiator even.Bolts can be easily reached as they are facing you. Its a 15 min job.
Ask me ,quite difficult on an XUV (monocoque, routing of stabiliser bar from inside),very very difficult on a Swift, and a Ritz. Some ASS ,bring down the whole suspension frame, just to change the bush ,as the stabiliser bar is routed just above the frame. No space to put even fingers around the bush. It takes a lot of time. Many local garages refuse even to change it or ask exorbitant prices.Cost of bush 40 rs only.Cost of labour, if frame is brought down, many times over.
Similarly easy for scorpio while difficult for XUV(as already said)
Surprisingly Gypsy has the bar in front(at least looks so in pictures),so easy, but again BOF vehicle.
I know all this as I did change it successfully on my swift as a DIY in my home ,with no help, when all local FNGs refused, and I took it as ego challenge. Took 2 hrs though!

^^ well said sir, very true! took me hardly 15 mins.
Forget bushes, that still sounds technical to lay men, in an xuv i struggled to change bulbs [lol], the packaging was that tight unless i removed the air filter box(or may be i have fat hands!).

Even on humble M800 it's a simple remove and fix !!

Post the inlet manifold cleaning did the first highway run, boy it was throttle happy - now the rpms climb fast and it breathes easy, high triple digit speeds is easy - not that I need it.
Its become a hoot to drive now - i dont think i even need a remap. Montero driving dynamics is a drivers pleasure !

Finally got the aux cable out of the rockford fosgate system - the context was it has a stonking 12 speaker 6 cd changer system but no bluetooth or aux!
Got the official mitsubishi aux wire imported through amayama part number :- MZ360136EX

Then got a aux based bluetooth switch put on the dash - some pics attached.

Open the 2 vents and central dash

remove the silver box behind the audio console

Fitted this bluetooth switch

Also have additional bluetooth and fm transmitter through the digital rear view mirror(along with ADAS, navigation, Front and Rear DVR, WIFI etc) but wont use this anymore for music as sound quality through aux cable is way better

Missed adding, also plonked in a new battery on the monty, it was weak and i was biding my time, but since the remap had to be done, i didnt want to take chances - voltage fluctuations can mess up an ecu upgrade.

i removed the battery and checked this again, it has a battery base cover that protects the battery and that on the fender side the anchor is broken at base(cant see it clearly when battery is in) , so someone cunningly has anchored it on a hole in the body! [lol]

If I remember correctly, either my Pajero Sport or the SFX or both had a similar arrangement. Get this addressed as the inclined anchor is not going to help much while you are off the road.

Picked up 5 pieces of beautiful smelling rubber Maxxis AT771 275/65/17 (very light upgrade only 1.6%) - so now Monty and PS shares same tyres!
this christmas, decided that Monty deserves better shoes, also the Santa at jeepkart provided good prices!

Congratulations on your new tyres. How much did they cost you?
What is the manufacturing date on the tyres? How is the ride now after the change and upsize?
