I have also heard quite poistive about the Philips from some of my friends. But in some forums Osram night breaker is quite popular for its high intensity beam.

So these are all verdicts from various sources in the world.

AHI's Verdict: Philips X-treme is better than Osram Night Breaker by a close margin. Both are OEMs to various auto manufacturers, but philips topped the race by a close margin, internationally.

@AHI- Is Osram also an OEM to auto manufacturers? I thought Philips and Bosch are the major player in this area.

Thanks AHI for the explanation.

I am planning to replace OEM head lamps in my Honda City IVTEC as I feel they are too weak for highway driving during night.

Request feedback regarding Philips Xtreme Vision from actual users. Philips claims that these bulbs give 100% more illumination compared to normal halogen bulbs.

I have Philips Rally Bulb, on stock headlamps, with ceramic holders.

Costed me 350 for 2/-

Relay and ceramic holder extra.

They do the job brilliantly.
