Police officials in NOIDA (New Okhla Industrial Development Authority) are stepping up their fight against wrong side driving, a traffic offence that is becoming very common in most big cities of India. The infamous ‘tyre killers’, which were first used and then taken down in Pune, will be installed on a pilot basis at five points in NOIDA. Police officials have revealed that the first tyre killer will come up in NOIDA before the New Year.

Really Good initiative taken by these police officials to take down wrong side driving.[clap]
Would like to see it implemented in all roads of India [not really all roads :) but the ones where many people drive on wrong side] :lol!:

I heard they were removed within a week or so, Because people complained they could hurt Children & Animals.
This could happen this time also, children and animals would never leave roads, So what's the point of innovation when people can't teach their children to be careful??
And this could harm children too only if they walk on wrong-side, if they walk on left side this would just be like a speed breaker for them.
