2019 Maruti WagonR first look video confirms the presence of interesting new features and design updates. The unique dual split headlamps in the front are now housed on the upper half of the front assembly. The setup receives pilot lamps and indicators on its lower half, but is missing LED DRLs.

Saw the car in person ,my first reaction was what?,it makes current wagon r look handsome .But later considering the potential buyers i realized that it serves the purpose in a better way by hike in power, more boot space ,extra features .And as the current buyers don,t take it for spirited drive or style (my opinion ) it rather serves the purpose better ,no doubts it will have a lot of takers

The WagonR EV on test in real world conditions will take into account charging time, range and price etc. The WagonR electric has been developed at the company head quarters in Japan. For India, manufacturing will be localized, to keep costs low. Suzuki is also working on setting up a car battery plant.

New Maruti WagonR launched in India

Maruti Suzuki has today launched the new WagonR in India. The tall boy hatchback has been priced at Rs. 4.19 lakhs for the base LXi 1.0 variant while the top of the line ZXi AGS 1.2 has been priced at Rs. 5.69 lakhs. The new WagonR will compete with the Hyundai Santro and the Tata Tiago in the segment. The new WagonR is larger and more powerful than the model it replaces. Maruti Suzuki has today launched the new Wagon R in the Indian market starting at Rs 4.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has also announced that the car has received an overwhelming response from the market receiving 12,000 bookings in just one week since its bookings officially started on 14th January this year.

No LPG variant in the pipeline for the 2019 Maruti Wagon R

The 2019 Maruti Wagon R has been launched at a starting price of INR 4.19 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new model has gone on sale in two engine variants - 1.0-litre petrol and 1.2-litre petrol - and in three trim levels - LXi, VXi, and ZXi. The company has announced that a CNG version will be introduced at a later stage. That said, the manufacturer has dismissed the possibility of the introduction of an LPG option.

New 2019 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R bookings cross 16,000 units

The new 2019 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R was launched last week and takes on the likes of the new Hyundai Santro. The car will be sold through the Arena range of Maruti Suzuki dealerships and according to dealers across the country, there has been a very good response to the new, mid-range, tall-boy hatchback. According to official Maruti Suzuki figures, bookings for the new Wagon R have already crossed 16,000 units. The waiting period also extends into a few weeks, depending on the variant; the 2019 Wagon R comes with 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre engine options, with manual or AMT automatic gearboxes.
