Maruti Suzuki WagonR CNG prices REVEALED

According to sources, the WagonR CNG will start at Rs. 4.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base LXi trim. The CNG powered car will only come with the 1.0 litre engine and only available in the lowest trim, albeit with two variations. The other option for the CNG WagonR is the LXi (O), which will come at a premium of Rs. 7,000 than the other version. The key difference in it will be the presence of two airbags instead of a single unit in the LXi trim.

Also, the WagonR CNG will only come with three colour options to choose from instead of 6 options on petrol powered variants. The colours available on the CNG powered variants will be white, silver, and grey. They are the most popular paint shades and hence most of the buyers would not find the absence of three other paint shades as a problem. To be precise, the CNG variant misses out on orange, brown and blue colour options.

2019 Maruti WagonR CNG arrives at dealer – Video walkaround and details

Maruti Suzuki India launched the new generation WagonR back in Jan 2019. At that time, it was offered only with petrol engine options of 1L and 1.2L. It was expected Maruti to launch dual fuel option of CNG and LPG with WagonR at the time of launch itself, but that did not happen.

But with petrol options not managing expected sales, the company has now launched CNG petrol dual fuel option in India. Priced from Rs 4.84 lakhs for the LXi trim and Rs 4.89 lakhs for the LXi (O) trim, the WagonR CNG is only offered in two variants. Both are powered by the same 1.0 liter three cylinder engine. Comparing price of WagonR CNG with that of respective petrol powered variant, it is an increase of Rs 65k.

2019 Maruti WagonR CNG option launch name is WagonR S (Smart) – CNG

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced launch of a clean, green and environmentally friendly WagonR S-CNG; claiming to have best in class mileage of 33.54 km/kg, a 26% better fuel economy than the outgoing WagonR CNG. The new CNG WagonR is presented in two variants of Lxi and Lxi(O) which are priced at Rs.4.84 lakhs and Rs.4.89 lakhs respectively, a premium of Rs 65,000 over its petrol powered counterparts. The much anticipated and discussed 7-Seater MPV version of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will arrive in June 2019. It is likely to be sold from Maruti's Nexa premium retail network, and so will likely sport a new nameplate too. The launch is expected at the end of June 2019.

New Maruti WagonR BS6 launched – Prices increased by up to Rs 15k

BS6 compliant WagonR (1.2 Ltr) is now listed at an ex-showroom price (Delhi and NCR region) from Rs. 5,10,000/- to Rs. 5,91,000 /- depending on feature variation. Rest of India price is listed at Rs. 5,15,000/-to Rs. 5,96,000/-. WagonR (1.0 Ltr), introduced in Jan’19 was initially made available at introductory prices. The revised Ex-showroom price in Delhi and NCR region now vary from Rs. 4,34,000/- to Rs. 5,33,000 /-, and in rest of India from Rs.4,39,000/-to Rs.5,38,000/-. All price revisions come into effect today, i.e. June 14, 2019.

Maruti WagonR BS6 1 liter petrol launch price Rs 4.42 lakhs

After launching BS-VI compliant WagonR 1.2 Litre petrol in June, Maruti Suzuki has introduced BS-VI for its 1.0 Litre petrol variant as well. With BS-VI upgrade, price of the car has been increased.

In Delhi and NCR, ex-showroom price of BS-VI compliant WagonR 1.0 Litre petrol is in the range of Rs 4.42 lakh – Rs 5.41 lakh. The increased pricing comes into effect from November 18, 2019. Prices have effectively increased by around Rs 12k, as earlier price range was Rs 4.3 to 5.3 lakh.

The car has dual-tone interiors and comes with a new dashboard and SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system. SmartPlay Studio offers mobile connectivity, displays vehicle information and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Other key features on the inside include front cabin lamps, driver side sun visor with ticket holder, power windows, AC & heater, reclining & front sliding seats, and utility spaces at front and rear. In terms of safety, WagonR 1.0 litre petrol is equipped with driver airbag, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminder with buzzer, speed alert system, rear parking sensors, central locking and child proof rear door lock.

Maruti WagonR BS6 CNG Launch Price Rs 5.25 lakh – Mileage 32.52 km/kg

Maruti Suzuki has launched the ‘S-CNG’ variant of the updated BS6-compliant WagonR at Rs 5.25 lakh for the base LXi variant while the higher LXi (O) variant comes at Rs 5.32 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The Maruti WagonR is a popular choice when it comes to the CNG-vehicle segment in the Indian automotive market. The tall-boy hatchback, in its CNG avatar, is often seen as cabs due to the cost-effectiveness and high fuel economy it offers.

The Maruti WagonR BS6 S-CNG is part of the Indian brand’s ‘Mission Green Million’ initiative that was announced at Auto Expo 2020. The aim is to provide the widest range of ‘green vehicles’ in the country. With a tank capacity of 60 litres, the new CNG variant of the Maruti Wagon R promises an impressive mileage figure of 32.52km/kg. CNG fuel is measured in kilograms.
