The test mule sits beneath a Ford Fiesta hatchback’s body, which is meant to disguise the lines of the new EcoSport. Ford is developing the next generation of EcoSport and the test mule has been spotted testing near the Article Circle in Scandinavia as part of the cold weather testing. The new EcoSport is going to be based on the same platform as the seventh generation Fiesta. The design theme of the new model will be completely different from the outgoing version.

The centre console will get a new design and the company might offer an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system with the latest SYNC software. The connectivity options include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new EcoSport will be loaded with lots of features like climate control, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, leather seats and more.
