Kia has launched a new, special edition version of its XCeed crossover. Called the XCeed Edition, it adds much of the brand’s highest-level equipment to the SUV’s entry-level powertrain.
Available to order now, the XCeed Edition is priced at £20,995 – which is just £200 more than the base model XCeed “2” on which it’s based.
Standard equipment for the Kia XCeed Edition includes 18-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, LED headlamps and silver roof rails. Buyers also have a choice of three metallic paint finishes as standard: ‘Blue Flame,’ ‘Quantum Yellow’ and ‘Lunar Silver’.
Inside, the Edition gets faux leather upholstery, air conditioning and an eight-inch infotainment screen with voice recognition support, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s a decent amount of driver assistance tech, too: buyers get cruise control, lane-keeping assist, high-beam assist and a forward collision avoidance system.
