Hello guys,

I m planning to replace my 14 year old 800,which had done 1.14L in 14 years. So,we are planning to replace 800 with a new car.

Budget-3-5L
Fuel-Petrol
Daily running-20 Km per day
Monthly running-500-600 Km per month
Yearly running-6-7K per year
Prefer'ed brands-Chevrolet,Hyundai,Fiat,Honda,Ford,Volkswagen,Skoda and Toyota.

Didn't considered Maruti,Tata due to lack of built quality.

Why I remove Maruti because we had 3 Maruti's in our family.
Why I remove Tata because of niggles.

The cars which we consider are,

1.Chevrolet Beat
2.Chevrolet Spark
3.Hyundai I10
4.Toyota Liva
5.VW Polo
6.Skoda Fabia
7.Honda Brio
8.Toyota Liva and
9.Fiat Punto.

The used cars which we consider are,

1.Honda City V-TEC(OHC and NHC)
2.Hyundai Accent
3.Fiat Palio 1.6
4.Maruti Swift(Considering it because I love Swift more than Maruti) and
5.Ford Fiesta Classic 1.6 Petrol

So,which car is best for my use?

Ruled out Eon due to lack of performance, already my neighbor had one and ruled out Santro due to common in roads, bad FE and lack of performance.

P.S-My 100th post.

Abhinav hi and congrats for your 100 th post [clap]. Secondly your age is if iam not mistaken as per your profile is just 14 right ? So how can you drive ? Is this car for your parents ?
As per your budget the cars I can suggest you are
1) Honda brio
2) Hyundai i10
3) Chevy beat .
I could have suggested you the spark as it is very nice little car andi have been using it since past 4 years but a facelift is soon expected so no point in buying now .

Since you present car is 14 years old and your age is 14 too was the car bought when you were born ?[:)]

^^music_swift,
Your criteria of ABS and Airbags must be first appreciated. More and more people are understanding the use of such lifesaving technologies.
Regarding discounts, when it comes to Honda we won't be able to get as much discounts as other manufacturers give.
At the mentioned time frame I think Brio diesel would be out as well as chevy would give the beat a minor facelift.
Still I would suggest you Brio !

with the honda brand name and A.S.S u wont go wrong with a Brio. also it has futuristik looks which is an added bonus.

There is a premium feel when u r in it and its amazingly spacious(except the boot). Ride quality is superb mileage is pretty decent in its class. I am just back after a long run, revving, overtaking and handling are superb both in city and highways.
