Recent additions to my tool armoury. I have noticed that Stanley quality of the pliers is better than the taparia branded ones.
Yellow ones are the new addition. Red and blue are there already.

Got smaller Jopasu duster for the cars. This is handy as well as small. It can be worn like a glove. Behind the duster there is a sleeve. After slipping the palm inside, it becomes very easy to clean the superficial daily dust. It saves a lot of time .But a word of caution. Do not try to wash it or clean the dark fibres.

Got a few toys for myself. Was keen to do some detailing on my T-Fort and M800.Some item acquired so far are posted in self descriptive images in the post [;)]
All the item here are purchased through online aliexpress and shipping times varied from 15 days for the DA polisher to 40 days for the clay mitt.Very happy with the quality offered though i had to wait eternally for the arrival of the goods through India post.I had to pay 1400 rs customs duty for the polisher which has 220-240V made for India plug.Still awaiting few more items and shall post them as soon as they arrive.
disclaimer :I am in noways affiliated to aliexpress

Now my 1/4 drive+ socket set is nearly complete. I do not need more in this set.
I have 2 different ratchets + a screwdriver shaped driver along with 3 different sized helpers/attachments to go along with the set.
Complete set is available in the market, but when I started building my own set ,I did not have much spare money in the pocket, so I bought them separately. Now if I order when already I have most pieces individually,it would be a waste of money. So till now I was in search of just the few missing pieces. Now its complete(well almost).
Here are some picks.

No honest DIYer worth his salt will venture out to do serious things on car, without a torque wrench.

As you can see, i have not 1 but 2 of them,as 1 is not covering the entire range of torque required!!
pics will tell you the story.
shuttle cock is just for size reference as they are +5 kgs,and about 2 feet long!!

nice torque wrenches Gtw-50 & Gtw-160 @mayandixit
where did you procure them from and for how much
thx

It was procured from the local tool bazaar in my city. Of course one has to search and find the right shop for hours together, in the maze of shops all around the market.

DIY changing engine oil+oil drain plug of Bajaj discover 125 dtsi .

It was time for another DIY. I cannot sit still, is what my wife says. I have a monkey bone somewhere( or everywhere) in my body.
I do all the service myself. My bike never goes to the ASS. My oil drain nut/cap was ruined too, courtesy overtightening by the untrained fools in the earlier year of life of bike. So had to change that too.

I know it's more psychological than actual but I think the bike is sounding quite good and smooth post the oil change.
Anyway l will drive it up and then get back to you.
Edit. My god bhvm you are fast or what?!! That was a very quick thumbs up! Thanks

My wife gifted me these 3 invaluable tools today. I was searching them in my local tool market for quite some time. But to no avail. Finally noticing my frustration she ordered it online, and voila, I was surprised and happy at the same time. But few of my friends did not share my delight.
My friends said," Mayank she should have gifted you a watch or something. You are stupid to feel happy about this mechanic type gift". I replied-"Watch is nothing in front of these gifted out of love tools and you are dumb to compare this to a watch. I am more happy with this than a boring titan or Timex or something! AND there the conversation ended.

Revolving punch pliervery useful for leather belts watch strap, shoes, copper or brass sheet and the likes.

A wife gifting a watch is so common! You are lucky to have a wife who can gift what our diesel filled heart wants![clap]

Agreed with Bhvm..I too firmly believe in "practical "gifting of useful items to near and dear one ..and also tell them the same if they wanted to gift me !☺I shall soon show some practical gifts I have received from my sister who stays abroad .I'm done with the huge collection of watches and sunglasses and perfumes and shoes which I hardly wear..rather I'd be more happy and content with a new tool to my collection
