Sounds good!! You planning to assemble it yourself?
I work for a big software tech firm here in Mumbai, let me know if you would want me to find out the prices from any of our dealers.

i am planning for MSI 1 GB graphic card. have not heard any reviews about them. what is your opinion?

dude..every thing is good, just get 9900 series graphic card from geforce
as i said, i was planning to opt for MSI as i am getting a 1 GB card in my budget. for a few hundreds less, i am getting a raedon 512 MB. which do you think is better?

Okay if you want a Good performer & Mean machine then you can opt for Geforce 9800 GTX +

Have a look at this link which gives the benchmarking results of all the cards in world.

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

It costs you around 15K now.

And regarding processor, its based on You.

I can say simply like

Intel - High End Computing & Entertainment Device.

AMD - Extreme Gaming & Computing Device.

AMD is quite lot cheaper. so stay with it if you are not going to use your PC for lot of computations or as Servers!

thanks zinam.

i cannot afford 15k for the graphics card right now. my budget for the card is 8000-9000 max. so in this budget, is nvidia better or MSI or raedon?

i am more into gaming, so i will opt for AMD.

I have never had a PC with AMD but my friend had a laptop running the AMD processor. The problems that he faced were the heat sync issues where the laptop would go off after sometime. The processor would automatically shut down the machine.
However, I have heard that these issues have been resolved with the AMD Athlon processor onwards.
