Finally I received my iPhone 5 yesterday after waiting for 26 days. I placed my order on 10/4/12. It took so long because the phone was on backorder and includes 3 days for shipping. I was using a 4S before this and upgraded to IPhone 5. So thought of putting down the difference between the IPhone 5 & 4S.
Well if you look at both the phones they are almost identical but there are few differences in both of them.
IPhone 5 as all know has a larger screen.
The side walls of the iPhone 5 are black in color.
The headphone jack has now been moved on the bottom.
The rear body is not glass as in iPhone 4S
And iPhone 5 is thinner and lighter than the iPhone 4S. (it is 28 grams lighter to be more precise)
IPhone 5 is much faster than the 4S due to it’s faster processor
IPhone 5 comes with iOS 6.
Iphone 5 comes with the new Apple EarPods.
Another new addition to the iPhone 5 is the 4G LTE.
And you get a storage and travel kit for the headphones which I think is useful.
IPhone 5 front camera is 1.2 megapixel and is capable of HD video recording in 720p whereas the iPhone 4S had a VGA camera.
Video recording on the iPhone 5 is slightly different, and new features over the iPhone 4S include improved image stabilization, face detection and the ability to take photos whilst in the middle of recording a video
IPhone 4S features a 3.5 inch retina display with a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels whereas the iPhone 5 features a 4 inch retina display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixles
Well my major reason for upgrading the phone was the screen size and the performance of the phone. It loads everything twice as fast as an iPhone 4S and apps open really quick. Also it loads videos very quickly and does not buffer.
So far I am loving the bigger screen and definitely the speed of this iPhone 5. Can’t say on the battery life as of right now will update the same in a few days.
Attaching few pics, please bear with me as i took the pictures from my friends phone.
