The place where i dont understand anything is the ENGINE BAY! I never mess up there myself!

Go to an Aftermarket person and get it done up( the reverse light) if it needs repairs.

Yep,me too planning to go to a good mechanic tomorrow,I know a good guy in my city.

Some works remaining are:

1.Right Headlight needs replacement,its broken from inside,water will enter during washing and rainy season,rainy season is coming,so planning to change it tomorrow itself.

Price 2850rs[frustration]

2.Replacing clutch Plates

They are at its max,now feeling jerking on 1st gear,time to change it.

Price 2000rs

3.Check Reverse light
4.Coolant change
5.Sparkplug change,already bought them,but no plug removal tool with me.[sad]
6.Gear Oil Change.

Will update soon.

45000KMS Service Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi

Completed the 45000kms service today.[:)]

It includes:

  1. Engine Oil MGO 20W40 Shell
  2. Oil Filter
  3. Airfilter
  4. Sparkplug X 3
  5. Clutch Assembly
  6. Flywheel
  7. Brake Pads
  8. Brake Fluid Bleeding
  9. Gear Oil Change Shell 80W90
  10. Coolant Change
  11. Reverse Light Problem Rectified
  12. Flywheel Bearing

Clutch had worned out completely and made scratches on the flywheel,we can get it lathed,but will reduce response and power,so replaced the fly wheel with new one.

FlyWheel-950rs
Bearing 110rs
Brake Pads-560rs

Now the car is More powerfull,Butter smooth.:)

Got it done from an outside mechanic in my city.Good guys.I was standing with the car full time.

The total Labour charge was just 850rs. :) I am 100% satisfied with their job, Started work at 10am and completed by 3pm.

and Total Cost : 5100RS.

Update on mileage:

Ran 223kms for 14.70Ltr petrol.:)

50% A/C on highway,balance on city w/o a/c and idling at service center few times.[:)]

Buddy, the mileage you are getting is 15.17kmpl. Cheers. That is not a bad number. Surprise, I am getting 19.71kmpl (Drove 465kms from 23.59L of fuel!), Full highway drive, Empty roads, Lond Stretch, Speed- 90-110kmph! Without AC, Alone 99% of time.

wow..I hadnt tried above 60 till now.:) I am learning every day,so postponed it for future.:)

No problem. I am not encouraging anybody to drive fast. Its just a reason for better mileage. It feels scary above 70kmph on alto, After all its a small 800cc car, Not meant for that fast driving. Personally I have done 125kmph on my Alto while going to Meerut. Nobody try please!

15kmpl its pretty good for learners, keep practicing my friend.

My alto touches 130+ without trouble and you know what? my baby kissed 160kmph for 10 seconds(That was on NICE road)

You can do wonders, provided you look at the safety part first.

But At 125kmph, I thought the car would fly off , Like in computer games, When we use Nitro Butttons (GTA IV) :stupid:!

Nope, Not in all cases, My stock horn is working FINE since 3 years. But I too think that they are too Soft. Go for those ones with "PAW-PAW" type sound. Or the "PRAE PRAE" Ones. Sorry, Didnt have any other word to explain this!
Do tell the cost.
