Now the car is almost 4 months in... The odometer is at 11.6K kms. The experience is getting better and better. Gearbox has smoothened out and so has the engine. FE is a constant 16 kmpl in the cities with highway FE going to 18 kmpl. All in all, a very satisfied customer.

UPDATE TIME:

The car is almost 7 months in 7 days from now. And the odometer is clicking around the 19,000 kms mark. Two trips to Shimla already, 2 trips to Panchkula/Chandigarh, Daily trips to Gurgaon, once or twice to Panipat in a week. Yeah, little Tigs does not get any rest.

Attached are some pics of Tigs on its duties.

So the car had an accident in March. It was a head on collision from a biker who was coming in the wrong side. Luckily, the biker was fine. Though my LUV bore the brunt of it and had some damages. Unfortunately I do not have pics of the damaged look.

Everything was fixed under Insurance and lots was changed from AC pipe, to a new bumper to radiator.

And the Bull bar is finally off. I am not putting it back on the car anymore. [:D]

Good that the car is back to normal dear. Crash-guards do need a certain amount of precision driving because they are at-least 1-2 feet extended from body and in the traffic they can unknowingly scrap up the other vehicles. These crash-guards add un-wanted weight on the car hence wise decision not to put it back. Take Care.

If your drive is with city limits better to place crash guards,as in my swift bumpers there are lot of scratches in cornrers which i think is from parking effects. When parked sometimes nearby scooter etc when other one takes it will be hit by its crash guard.[frustration]

Hi Akash yea I took it out also due to the safety reasons involved as my car is mostly on Highways as well. The bull bars block the airbag sensors.

I totally agree with you and that is why I got it on the first place, but now the safety factors come in with airbag deployment. Though I must say, the car looks better without the guards now. [:D]

So my LUV had met with a nasty accident. I was driving it alone and well, on slippery roads, I skidded off mid corner and collided with sidewalk and brushed a tree as well. I got some cuts and bruises but was fine. LUV took all the brunt. [cry]

And after a bill of 2.1 lac rupees (paid only 7K thanks to zero dep) and a time of over a month... my LUV came back to its health fit and fine.
