My First Car Maruti 800

My dream of owning a car came true with this Maruti 800 December 2002 model it has done 104000Kms till date. This is a pre-owned car which i bought it on 29th October 2011. As the care is 12 years in running, i had to do many parts changes, recently on 1st August 2012 i overhauled the engine. After i bought it i replaced the Steering box, front drums and brake shoes, arms, driveshaft. It still gives me 16-20 Kmpl on highways. I would try to give a step by step review on how i managed to change the looks of the car after i bought it.
The 3rd pic is the one the day i bought it 29th Oct 2012.

Welcome Avika to TAI. We have many active members here who have done extensive modifications on there 800. You'll definitely gain a lot here.
Please start your ownership thread with photos of your ride.
Also tell us more about your place. It must be very beautiful. Some pictures please.

please suggest some tips, sporty outside classy inside [:)]

Please do post more pics of your car and also share the list of expenses done in engine overhauling and replacing the parts.

Seems you are finding difficulty in uploading pictures. Let me help you out.
  • Click on "go advanced" tab, just below message box.
  • Write the message in the box.
  • To attach pictures, navigate below "additional options".
  • Click on "manage attachments". Separate window will pop out.
  • Click on "choose file" and select pictures one by one.
  • Once done, click "done". After upload is completed close the extra window.
  • Make sure, the picture is less than 1 mb in size.
