After spending so many months in quarantine , we all wanted a change of scenery and some fresh air.
Completing all the formalities of getting the corona test reports and making the e-pass we started our journey to Mussorie on the 30th of August.

you can also watch my earlier thread for more details about the restaurants etc Mussoorie: Queen of Hills | Travelogue

Day 1.
Beautiful Morning to start the Journey.

Route Taken. Believe me if you are coming from Delhi take this scenic route to Mussorie. Away from all the city rush of the usual smaller route to Mussorie.

Our usual breakfast point. Star Neelkanth Dhabha. After this there's no good breakfast place on the route for hours.

Being a Sunday there were many local UK cars too and there were a series of Landslides in Mussorie this year and we haven't seen anything like this. Jam because of landslides. there were 2-3 places where only one car could pass at once.

Day 2.
Woke up early in the morning. We all went for a wal to the beautiful Camel Back's road. If you combine the mall road walk as well it must be well above 6kms total.

After having some breakfast we went to the famous Kempty Falls. it's usually very busy but because of lockdown only a few shops were open and we had the whole falls to ourselves. [evil]
Enjoyed 20 minutes of bath here. after this many people started coming so we left.

Day 3.

After another morning walk to the Camel back's we went to George Everest House, another absolutely mesmerizing place. There's a trek to the point and we didn't click any pics since the weather was not good there. just clouds. the pics you see below are the starting point of the trek.

Amazing Travelogue
Loved the pics.
I am still afraid to travel to any place due to Covid.
How was the general behavior of people around you, where they cautious and following the safety norms?
Getting inspired by people's travel posts and may plan an outing soon as family is getting frustrated at home.

We went to chacharauli to visit some relatives for a few minutes and nobody was wearing any masks.
We went to the gurudwara they were watching us as if aliens are walking among them. Only we were the ones with masks.
There are not much cases there so maybe that's why.

In mussorie though , they were strict. Police were issuing challans to those who were not wearing. There must be atleast 20 police personnel throughout the Mall road so every person there was following rules.

Nice travelogue ![clap][clap]

Due to lock down, not getting permission to go out .

Had planned to visit 'Netarhat' -- 150 km from Ranchi, but father denied due to COVID .
Its a great hill station, will write a separate thread on it .
