As I am a beginner here so many doubt-
please help me to take a decision Ilango ,
yesterday I visited one dealer (EMPEROR CAR ESSENTIALS COCHIN) as some frnds in this forum suggested. For the Ist stage-
They told first select a good HU producing good out put They recommened ALPHINE-CDE-103(13.5K),or W203E (14K-2DIN)-It have so many equlizers and other tuners
Front speakers moral component (7k)-damping 3k for 2 front doors
Rear Speaker my older pair of ovals.
second stage
AMP jbl 2chanel(3.9k)or 4channel
He told amp only amplify the o/p of HU.
So U have to select good HU first.
My need-something different from commonly used systems..

My 3 year old co-axial speaker is now performing well in my wagon-r.
Is Alpine-w203 is good compare to others in that price range?
Do u have anyother suggetions please.?
Need amp only for front speakers? Which brand u prefer?

The Alpine W203 has just one preout and very little functions for the price it's better to buy a single din if you are looking for good value for money and sound, else the Alpine 100EUB is a better choice @ around 6.5K Street price , The formet just fills your double din slot, the alpine 103 comes with 2 preouts and also has bluetooth.

Thanks ilango,
finally I decided to go for 4 speakers in door pad supported by 4 channel amp. Single din HU
My budget is 25k
Can you give me a good combination in my budget.
Is damping needed?
List out Best damping materials and it's approximate cost for one door?
Any suggestion regarding damping?
What about new JBL GTX-666 HU?
Any other suggestion regrding HU?
Can I use Power series JBL GTO-608c in door pad or any other suggetions from your side ?
What about the wiring KIT.

Hello madrider welcome to TAI and congratulations for your booking. Alpine HU'S are generally good. Go for JBL components at the front , co-axials at the rear and if the budget permits get a JBL 2-channel amplifier to power the component speakers.

Thanks cooldhaya[:D]. I was thinking of the same. But the showroom guys says go in for components in rear & use a parcel tray it gives a better effect. What do you say about dis?
Can you also suggest how many watts spkrs to go in for?
