Mumbai - Nashik Route

Hello All,

I have to drive to Deolali Military cantonment (Near Nashik) this saturday from Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

First time driving towards this side. Have checked the map and the route seems to be straightforward.

Any advice on the road conditions, tolls, Speed checks by Cops, food breaks etc will be helpful

The roads are excellent.
The Kasara ghat is beautiful and fun to drive
beware of few speed breakers/rumbler type.
Lots of eating options available, i generally go to Kamats.
Not aware of speed check.
