Day 7 (29 Dec, 2017)
Route: Tirunelveli – Virudhunagar– Tirumangalam - Madurai - Pallapatti – Batlagundu – Kattakamanpatti - Kodaikanal
Distance: 280km
Travel Time: 5.5hrs (including 1hr break)
Left Tirunelveli at 9:30am, connected beautiful NH4 in few minutes crossed Salaipudur Toll by 10:15am, Etturvattam Toll Plaza by 10:50am and Kappalur Toll Plaza by 11:30am. After crossing Madurai stopped at a restaurant for 10min tea break. Around Pallapatti you have to leave NH4 and take left for Kodaikanal, after this it was a 3 lane undivided highway but road condition was good, around Kattakamanpatti you need to take right for Kodaikanal, which I reached at 12:45pm, again took a 15min break for Coconut water, views were really good from here all paddy fields and coconut trees around.
