I hope the tyres will be larger, not the 13" that we get,
the only problem with facelifts is that, who bought it just before the facelift will[frustration]
seeing the new features ( i did after seeing the USB Audio system, new glove box etc which the older version lacked)

The Karimun Wagon R which is identical to the India-spec Maruti Wagon R, will shortly start testing an AMT gearbox for feasibility in Inodesia.

The AMT unit is expected to retain the gear ratios of the manual transmission while the rest of the components are most likely to be shared with the Celerio’s AMT.

India release is not yet revealed but likely to come with the Wagon R facelit version.

Maruti going back to old design of wagon r. The look is like the 1st gen. Again a crappy look with too much poor body quality.

Maruti Suzuki is upgrading the Wagon-R very Quickly & without any Delay, but now it seems that the upcoming version will be the biggest face lift version after the 2009 Update . It could be the only Car from Maruti to avilable in all fuel types and transmission at the time of launch ( Petrol MT , Petrol AMT , CNG MT & Diesel MT .)

My 2 cents on the car:

Exterior:

1. The front end looks blunt as compared to the current generation.
2. Rear end looks boxy whatsoever.
3. Overall car looks composed.
4. If only the tail light clusters could have been designed better to integrate into the body, the car would have fared better in terms of design.

Would Prefer:

1. A diesel engine under the hood would offer terrific competition with the entry level Beat.
2. If the 1.2 K Series engine is provided as an option along with the existing engines, the car would be a good buy.

Other than that, it is good to see Maruti revamping the WagonR after every 4-5 years given that it is selling in a neat number every month.
