After the Alto was upgraded to BS-4 in April this year, Maruti engineers failed to address a minor issue due to which fuel leakage occurred in the specific models and now Maruti Suzuki is recalling around 6,000 Altos in India. The carmaker has instructed over 2700 authorized service centers to resolve this problem, If your Alto is manufactured within the said period, then immediately go to the nearest MSIL authorized workshop to get it fixed before it turns into some bigger problem.

Oh, i was scared to open this thread. Anyways its nice to know that the fault has been found and will be resolved soon. Atleast this is better than what happened with Toyota. The faults in 1996 models were found after more than a decades time.
