So I visited the usual service centre to get the reverse parking sensors checked and they politely denied saying get it done from a service centre who is also a dealer. Weird.

Went to the nearest one and they don't have the sensors in stock. Will take a week or more to get the same. Will update.

There is only one dealership level service centre nearby and around 4-5 authorised sc.

I sent the e-mail in the afternoon and within 4 hours I got the call from the manager saying they have ordered the parking sensors which should reach the dealership tomorrow.

Will update more. Kudos to Maruti for such fast response.

More than 2 months since update. Have been driving the verna for a while now don't know how much brezza has covered till now.

Wanted to update about the accessories I am going to buy.

1. Steering mounted audio controls.
This is top on my list and I don't understand why maruti decided to have 3 steering designs for the car. Ldi and vdi has same, zdi and zdi+ all have different steering types.

Ldi and vdi costs 3200rs on boodmo.

Zdi variant

Zdi+ variant

Now there's another type of steering control in the market. Maybe it's aftermarket idk. Costs 3000rs(only the controls ,not full steering) according to the YT videos with installation.
And I am deciding to get the same.
It has bluetooth buttons on the right side of the steering wheel as opposed to lower left part of the zdi variant.

2. Seat covers.
Will get it done from AUTOCRAFT. Did a wonderful job on the Elantra.

3. Projector headlights ,fog lamps and auto fold mirrors.
There's this shop in delhi "om car accessories" which has various YT videos mentioning having original projector headlamps of all cars. Videos seem promising so will get the same done from him with HID's.

There are two options for the projector headlamps.
Normal zdi variant's

Or 2020 Brezza projector headlamps.

Will depend on the pricing which one I choose.

4. Alloy wheels.
will buy them only after the current tyre set is gone. Have so many screenshots from various pages. Top of the mind are Plati alloys and momo.
Might go with the stock alloys as well. One can get second hand unused alloys at various tyre shops from the owners who trade in the stock for aftermarket alloys. One can get good deal on the stock alloys[:D][thumbswink]

Accessories I am not so keen on getting.
1. Touchscreen system.
Costs around 16k for android. I don't get the deal with touchscreen. I hardly use it on the Elantra since button feels way more comfortable than looking for digital buttons on the screen.
Only thing it's useful for is just acting as a display for the reverse camera. That's it.

2. Music system.
In the verna i have two amplifiers costing 16-18k , 2 Jbl components costing 11k a pair and 2 JBL coaxial costing 6k and not once I enjoyed the sound on my car. It's just loud and not good at all.
I did get the amplifiers settings changed but there's no difference. Friend's car with Chinese speakers but with fitting from a reputed shop seems 1000 times better than my setup. Maybe I need to go to that reputed shop [lol]but I don't drive the verna at all normally.

3. Chrome accessories.
Hate these.

Accessories still on hold. A lot of cash crunch.

Car munching miles [drive] covered 2k in a month. No problems faced besides the pathetic power delivery of the car. The amt is a boon for me since I travel 60kms+ everyday. Other than that it's a pathetic car , don't recommend this to anyone.

Anyways have been getting 17.5 kmpl without ac usage + 100% city use. My route is usually devoid of any traffic. In rush hours it will drop to 15-16 kmpl for sure.

The car now goes near 700kms in one full tank of fuel but the distance to empty after getting the full tank shows just 550kms. And it's full of error. Check the 2 odo meter pics attached.

There are no rattles whatsoever from anywhere even after I load 70kgs-100kgs of work related stuff in the boot as well as the rear seats. (Not to be assumed with simple luggage since size and material is different everytime)

I didn't find any suspension related issue nor any handling issues. there are some bad roads which I ride on everyday and the car goes over them just fine(on the same roads my figo's suspension makes horrible crashing noise) Car feels planted till 60-70kmph and after that it's scary.

Coming to the power and the car size , the engine specs are poor. One or two people in the car is fine. Fill the car with 4 people and some luggage and it feels like a motorised bullock cart. Takes its own sweet time to accelerate and even the brakes feel inadequate in the same condition( Figo has the best brakes so far)
Not a highway car for sure.

Amt gets confused some times mostly in first and second gear , it will downshift to one for some reason in taffic and the car lifts off with a jerk. Happens very rarely though. After second ,the gears are smooth. No jerks whatsoever. If you accelerate till the point you know the gear change will happen and release the accelerator pedal at that instant ,you won't even feel the gear upshift And you can resume accelerating.

Got the periodic service done today. Odo at 30500kms.

IMG_20210109_185132.jpg

Removed all the unnecessary crap and still bill reached 8k.
I am getting fed up of this maruti service centre and will surely file a complaint tomorrow.

IMG_20210109_175154.jpg

This is the engine oil changed in the three services.
10k 15w40 1000rs indian oil
20k 5W30 1800rs indian oil
30k 5W40 2200rs Petronas
Will the engine go bad seeing so many engine oil viscosity changes ? I asked the advisor and he just said it's maruti approved. Actually I got the car delivered at home and that's why I couldn't talk in detail.

Another thing is they charged me around 1580rs for fuel filter change. I asked them to put the part in the boot they didn't, I asked for the replaced part's pic and they did.
IMG-20210109-WA0019.jpg

Now I opened boodmo and checked the part's pic and prices and voila , another crappy thing that the service centre did.

Screenshot_20210109-181150.jpg

Screenshot_20210109-181223.jpg

They replaced part worth rupees 1180 and charged me 1580rs which is of a different kind. [frustration]

I have lost trust in these SC after the Hyundai's false alignment issue.

Every F****** service centre in india is full of F****** thieves. No honour in doing things.
